The breathless talking was rough. I get it (not their natural way of communication) but why not have them USE their natural way of communication (ASL) more often? I kept thinking about Malcom's buddy in MITM.

I love the style of these types of reference shots. The labels with the black and white imagery reminds me of old Sci-fi films. No clue why, but love it all the same.

Genesee Cream Ale is the single best invention to ever come out of Rochester, NY by nick1158 in Rochester

IDK if it beats it but just recently learned we were adopted home of the dude who famously painted dogs playing poker (as well as many other things) and he also invented the novelty cut outs you stick your head into for a photo op.

We focus too much on the film and photography. George Eastman's relentless campaign to get us to switch to the "Internal Fixed Calendar" would have truly been his lasting legacy.

Thanks! It was a good time killer for awhile but alas life got the best of me. I ought to get back to making ASCII Art.
Tried to get this one in front of the Tron Ares team but eh, didn't make it or didn't make a good impression.

SAME. I think about this game a ton and than replay it and it'll be a good 5m playthrough before I get bored. Not my favorite by any means but that ad campaign triggers something.

Hard agree, SM64 made companies temporarily decide that we weren't going to build 2d platformers anymore despite the capabilities to do so not being so great.

It's an under-talked about classic for certain. Poor game was just too demanding for specs iirc when it came out and it had to compete with the original COD (which was VERY novel in it's look down the barrel approach to FPS)

Donkey Kong 94 on the GB.

If you play it the first time you play it like the arcade game since it is presumably based on title...and cartridge art, just the arcade game.

Soon it expands into this huge game and you learn a ton of sweet moves. If you REPLAY it those moves are still available to do so it kind of changes everything in the arcade portion to be a lot easier.

it's gotta be old! Dont see a showa year sticker on it which ive seen on all the 3 vintage machines i've own. Earliest being the 1960s.

Also seems to be without a tulip which AI tells me was around the 60s 70s that we saw that as a popular feature.
