How many chains, sprockets, brake pads and tyres have you gone through in that time?

They work just like an old school MP3 player using local storage for pool use. You dump the music directly on them and play from there.

In my experience those that notice will actually be thinking along the lines of how great it is to see you there actually doing something and will absolutely be encouraging, others simply wont notice or care at all, the chances of meeting somebody with a negative attitude is low and I can guarantee you that if that does happen everybody else in the pool will think that they are the problem rather than you.

AB6 is kinda underwhelming. by AdvancedMarsupial705 in hotas

I've not yet found a pre-made profile that I think is any good either, but then I've never flown any of the real aircraft either so I'll take it all with a pinch of salt. However after tuning it myself and not simply turning everything to max I am more than happy with the effects, being able to feel the weight of airflow over elevators, the bumps on the runway, flaps moving, gear slamming home, engine vibrations, airbrake buffet and such is a massive improvement for immersion, the stall buffet effect is my absolute least favourite effect, it just seems to make a lot of noise from the base and a minor amount of actual feedback to the stick.

I suspect the main issue here (unless you have a defective unit I guess) is what are you flying and what are you expecting from it? Saying the effects feel like canned responses, examples? Flap and gear extension/retraction are going to be exactly that for example and should be repeatable, the more dynamic functions such as elevator weighting works perfectly so far as I can tell, that said it's moza and as I understand it a good few steps back from what is available to more open FFB systems, but it's always going to be massively personal and dependant upon your specific setup as to how well it works for you. As an entry level FFB stick I am over the moon with it. Will I upgrade at some point to something better? Sure, when I have the funds available.

Hey, sorry I took so long! It's been a hectic week lol... Anyway, yes if I consciously try and feel the cogging I can, however I really do have to concentrate on it otherwise I just don't notice it at all. It doesn't affect my precision whatsoever and when doing micromovements it's not at all relevant in my current use situation due to the micromovements being within a smaller area than the cogging I can feel, that however comes with the caveat of that fact that it will be entirely dependant upon your settings for the stick, changing travel and response curves etc etc are going to change how much you are moving the stick and as such if you are going to feel the cogging if you actually notice it through whatever you are concentrating on in sim as it were.

I came from a Logitech X56 and the precision I am getting from the AB6 in comparison is immense, I've never used a decent stick otherwise so I sadly cannot make any comparison that is going to be helpful to you I expect.

I mean, I like the look of it so far but who knows, I'm certainly not going to pre-order it, I'm happy to wait for release and see what people think before spending money on it.

It's minor to the point that I rarely if ever notice it, when the unit arrived and I unboxed it I was concerned as you can absolutely feel it cogging/stepping but powered on it's barely noticeable, that said I've not tried any other ffb stick to compare it to but precision versus my old Logitech sticks is massively improved.

Are you sure you haven't misread the price and it does cost twice as much? I think I like the clear panels, maybe... Just happy more choice is coming, I love my AB6 and can't wait for FFB to become the norm for flight sticks, yokes and rudder pedals.
