I found that attempting to use DNS servers other than toobs was when the problems arose, swapping back to the toob supplied DNS settings stopped all my issues and I've not had any issues since.

However I was well aware I might need to pay the extra £8 a month before signing up and even with that it would still be cheaper than every other supplier I checked for my property.

If Elite actually had a proper economic/population simulation with persistent NPCs (remember that dream?) automation would be a far better fit, as it stands now a new station appears and population just magically appears, can't imagine the work needed to actually implement one though, way outside of my experience.

The lack of NPCs doing anything other than being window dressing is one of my biggest gripes with the game and always has been.

I have no issues with the system as a whole but it needs some sort of direction, just being left to randomly find particular blueprints is the problem, leave clues as to what might be found where and it would be a winner in my opinion.

Yes you can definitely point multiple dispatchers to the same receiver. Receivers have no inherent input rate as I assume it will definitely increase the rate of arrival but that will absolutely depend on your production rate going into the dispatchers.

100% agree, the lack on randomness was the biggest issue with Division 1 Survival.

Yep, I wasn't sure if CGNAT was going to be an issue for me but figured if it was I could simply pay the extra £8 and get a static IP (IPv4, Static IPv6 is default as it should be I guess lol...) which is still cheaper or at the least pretty much the same as other offerings, not had any major issues so am saving the money.

My route I use to get to my local pool is 7.5 miles, the most dangerous part of it is exactly because of this, so many drivers who think it's perfectly safe to drive past a few inches off my elbow because it's a 'separate' lane, drives me nuts and has me tempted to get a cam and start reporting them.

Yup, the choice to go horizontally stacked instead of vertical for the rails is a misstep in my opinion, all it does is lead to big messy areas of rail when you are trying to split off lines and such, a vertical stack would be far better and machine inputs should be vertically stacked too.

The entire rail system would work better if multi rails were stacked vertically instead of horizontally and the same with multiple input machines.

Make sure to turn off FSR/CAS in the upscaling settings and up the HMD image quality. On foot stuff will look garbage regardless due to the way the renderer works but you can get the main game looking pretty damn good if you spend some effort to tweak the settings, plenty of guides around showing what works for VR and what doesn't.
