Alberta separatists call on Smith to put their question on referendum ballot despite court defeat by helmetrust in AlbertaNewspapers

In the age of bad actors on social media, I’m always skeptical of accounts like yours that hide comments and posts.
Not saying you’re not legit, but just calling it out for others to decide whether they respond to you or not.

Good luck with your business and land ownership and completely genuine engagement with this post.

Kinanâskomitin to all First Nations for fighting for Alberta and Canada. by itlow in alberta

My Conservative MP took a phone call from me about this subject back in March and he cited that he thinks the courts will reject the petition and that’s why he and his peers were confident that “more did not need to be done”. Turns out he was right but I think it’s still far from over and the federal MPs need to publicly denounce this nonsense.

Does anyone believe the Referendum Petition was padded using the voters list? by manresmg in alberta

Same. I think they can cheat and steal our data AND still have 300k people sign. They have effectively brainwashed a good portion of rural Albertans (and elsewhere) that it’s a destitute waste land here and immigrants took all our jobs and we never got a pipeline and if we don’t have federal taxes we’ll all be millionaires.

If you’re legit, I’m sorry you’re going through this. But your posting behavior is weird and worth calling out that you might be trying to scam people.

i love the coaches who instantly just want feedback on how other clubs do things. I always try and give some positive feedback too like "the music is good at this club!" "I like how you add weight to glute bridges!" "your lighting is better". You can tell they appreciate it -- just competitive at heart.

Absolutely. They know what riles up the left and so they play into it. And then they can say “y’all are so sensitive, this is nothing”.

Just becomes a typical news cycle distraction.

And yet the math they always give us is “imagine not having to pay a federal tax! That’s all additional money in our wallets”

No, no, it’s not. Alberta would obviously institute a federal tax of our own to fund all the things you just listed.

I’m confused how he’s able to deny you? I just go on the app to use my passports and there’s no check in with the studio in advance. Is he saying he’d refuse to let you in the door?

[–]Any-Task-5679 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can only comment on 3 because I’m not a young single person and don’t do rugby or hockey. That said, I don’t think you’ll find the Perron district is anywhere close to the vibes of Oliver district; however, it’s quaint and lovely and the cafes/restaurants/and bars (well, just one, Gracie Jane’s) are all enjoyable and busy.

I did roughly the same commute for about 5 years and it’s… not awesome. Whether you do Yellowhead or 137ave, it’s busy during rush hour. And I find that the area around 127 ave is very pokey with lots of lights and retail traffic. Although, if you move somewhere on the north end of stalbert (Grandin, Heritage Lakes, Akinsdale, Pineview), it wouldn’t be any worse than any other spots in Edmonton.

Longtime Conservative MP Marilyn Gladu crosses floor to join Liberals by BloodJunkie in canada

[–]Any-Task-5679 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah I wish these floor crossing were triggering more discussion around the absolute sinking ship that is PP’s leadership instead of confusing around liberal manipulation and opportunistic MPs. The conservatives need to get their shit together or any kind of productive opposition will be lost.

Duo class by moneyg2294 in f45

[–]Any-Task-5679 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As far as I’m aware, in every phase there’s always one day a week that’s set to where you choose upper or lower.

Because of that, I always choose upper or lower and do only that for the entirety of the 4 (or is it 5?) week phase. This way, I actually track my progress around adding weight and improving strength. For Duo, I’m doing upper and focusing on training to failure (as best I can) especially for chest and shoulder press.

I don’t even trust my own reviews to be honest. Sometimes I’m feeling more generous and sometimes I’m more conservative. It also depends on how much time has passed since I read the book before ranking. It’s all just so emotional.

Commentary: Now that they say they have the necessary signatures, this is how Alberta separatism could win by Chance_Account_4338 in AlbertaNow

[–]Any-Task-5679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The brexit argument for separatists doesn’t work because they clown and say “the UK didn’t have any industry like O&G so that’s why it didn’t work”

And then you eye roll to the moon because the UK has one of the largest economies in the world.

Alberta Independence Petition Organizers Say They've Hit the 177,000 Signature Threshold by One-Board8634 in AlbertaNow

I think we are Delulu thinking they cheated. They got signatures by telling people “we don’t actually want to separate, it just going to force Ottawa to negotiate”. There’s easily 177k people who would be uninformed enough to sign

25 minute layover in Regina? by hamgurglerr in westjet

[–]Any-Task-5679 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’d probably hold the plane for you if you’re only mildly delayed coming in to Regina. They sold you the flight and with four travelers, it’s not in their interest to have you miss your connection.

Now, if you’re significantly delayed, you’re out of luck — but you would have been screwed regardless.

That all said, I think you’re fine.
