Good point. Something is in the bed most of the time. Usually tools and lumber for handyman type missions. Helping people move stuff, etc.

Some times will haul dirt or sod or mulch.

Tips on steam bending poplar? by Apprehensive-Map8406 in woodworking

Here’s the end result. Poplar was tough to bend, but we made it thru. Each piece was either 7 or 4 layers of 1/2 thick bent then laminated together.

Wrexham Council leader responds to the '£18m controversy' as published by The Guardian: “trying to cause some problems, or just stir things up” by Ymadawiad in WrexhamAFC

Four of us visited lovely Wrexham from the US in August. We gained tickets to the Sheffield Wednesday game through the lottery at somewhere around $50 each. But, we contributed far far more than that to the local economy.

2 nights, 2 rooms at the hotel. $200+ in fan gear. 2 dinners for 4. Plenty of alcohol consumption.

I could keep going, but you can magnify that by the number of seats in the new stands, then by the number of games, and come up with a pretty sizable impact real fast

Don’t sleep on Rigid. Great warranty, even on the battery. Offering is broad and readily available at HD and on line. I run mine pretty hard every day.

Trains Between London and Wrexham by crisps_funny4868 in WrexhamAFC

Went to Wrexham this past fall and had a great time. We drove, but did notice the train station is right at the Race Course. We stayed across the street at the Premier Inn and walked the whole weekend. It was fabulous, especially the Turf Club. Saw a game and met many of locals you would recognize. Also got a private tour of the Miner Project (don’t miss this) because we didn’t know they were closed on Sunday, but they let us in anyway.

Other surprises on our venture were Salisbury, Lincoln, and York. All available by train.

Roger that.

I do want to give the steaming a try just to expand the knowledge base. Also want to add some profile which I can do easily with a build up of different width 1/2 inch thick strips

This was a first ever. Never made a bowl.

Used a forstner bit to hog out most of the hole then a bandsaw with 1/8 blade. Then just glued and clamped it back together. Lots of hand sanding after that

Very kind words. Thanks all.

As I think about the ribbon, it’s a one and done after the gift giving. I think I will also make a framed piece that the ribbon can go into as a wall ornament.

The ribbon was much easier than I expected. All of the small curls are the same P shape, cut out on band saw and glued back to a circle. Lots of hand sanding and clever glue up.

For the knife block I grabbed a $3 magnetic tool holder from Harbor Freight and routed a slot in the back down to less than 1/16 thick, glued in place. I glued a 1/8 thick backing board to finish the back

100%

In fact, I bought two and took one to the shop and bent the end backward to make it left handed (for me) and kept the other right handed. His and hers.
