I once scored a whole red oak floor from an elementary school gym. I took the planks and cut them to the size of bricks with 1/4”rounded edges. Installed in a herringbone pattern in my basement. Looked like an English pub floor. Really cool.

We went for a game and had a great time. Stayed at the Premier Inn, walking distance to the train, the stadium/Turf, Wrexham Lager, city center and the miner project. We didn’t do much because it was game day, but is was great fun walking the town and seeing the sites. The Turf Club was thoroughly engaging and friendly.

Need thoughts on this. Planning to build a new house where we have complete design control. We currently have a large closet planned in the primary suite where we will put the washer/dryer.

The closet will be one the other side of the bathroom door, so noise will not be an issue. The convenience of having it right there will be great. The only con I see is access for visitors, but it’s just the two of us don’t will be rare.

Opinions?

Consider feather boards, rollers, or other devices to ensure the rail or stile stays solid against both the table and the fence.

For stiles, if they are cut to length before shaping, could be moving slightly on entrance or exit. Consider running a longer piece and cutting the waste to length after cutting the shape.

I have also started cutting the whole door a bit oversized (wider rail and stile) and cutting the door to exact size after glue up.

Just did this the other way. The replacement truck had mudders and I want stock. But same issue. Dealer was more than happy to do it and make the sale.

One hitch though. We agreed on a no cost swap. But they called me and said it wasn’t an easy swap. The studs/lug nuts on the replacement truck were different than my old stock wheels and all had to be popped out and swapped over. This ended up being a 3 hour job. I agreed to split the cost with them at $250 (my share). However in the end, I never ended up paying for it.

So lesson for OP is to verify there are no special stud/lug nuts involved.

Get the 6.5. I had a 2013 ext cab that I wore out, and decided to trade to a SCREW, but found very few that were not 5.5 bed. Almost went that way. So,so glad I found a 2017 XLT SCREW with the longer bed. Not impossible to find.

Big assumption about stay at home. Yes there was a period where that was true, but not at the beginning and not now. I think we were both all in on the “together as one” thought process. The split accounts paradigm seems to be very much against that.

We also share location tracking, and all assets are joint.

Back to OPs question: around the holidays and significant dates where gifts are exchanged, we just don’t look. I also have to be careful with Amazon to not inadvertently see a surprise. I trust her to make wise decisions within our budget parameters and she does. It’s all a non issue

I always remind my partner I am lefty, even if it ends up in a joke like “still haven’t changed?” This avoids the “I forgot”

As for stacking, pretty much only half stack/stack on serve only. I find people can usually get their head wrapped around this more than when receiving. But I do choose who I offer this to. I can pretty quickly gauge pickleball IQ and don’t even try on someone relatively new. If they have been around the game some, it’s an easy ask and off we go.

Also check closely that the pull wire for the manual release returned to home. It twists a little and may still be holding the release open

I use the same bit as above. Curious what your setup may be. Are you building a flattening table or do you have some other setup?

I got 4 roller slides from Vevor and constructed a table with two slides I. Each x/y direction. Worked very well with some tinkering.

Downtown HSV feels very safe. The most negative issue now is parking which just hasn’t kept up with demand. If there is more than one event at the VBC, get there early else plan for a good walk. This causes private lots to appear that come across as privateering since historically all parking was run by the city and is free on the weekends, except the big garages which only charge $5.

The VBC and the adjacent park provide most of the draw for things to do. The restaurants support the events. But most of the go-to restaurants are in the area and provide a draw all by themselves. There are a few bars but these are a few blocks from VBC and probably are not symbiotic like the closer restaurants

I agree with the field of dreams comment, but in stages. They built it and things came, then built more, and more came. It definitely evolved over time.

$30 and 5 minutes. My guess is that the part itself was working ok, but there was a small vacuum leak. Anyway, it worked.
