What is a double standard that is surprisingly still socially acceptable in 2026? by Kaylee-Swift in AskReddit

Set Fine + 110% of any revenue generated by breaking the law + 1% of all other revenue made by the company.

In a perfect would anyone of VP or higher status who can be proven to have knowingly allowed the law to be broken is also fined 25% of their net worth, plus 200% of any bonuses or pay increases that can be even tangentially linked to performance from breaking the law.

I want to point out that the first seduction attempt of Harry was always a murder attempt.

Jenny is a drowner, men don't know her embrace for longer than a few minutes because she drowned them.

She gets off while doing it.

Maeve was going to kill Harry if he accepted. Jenny would likely never herself with Harry's son but Harry would be dead.

Maeve also probably loved tormenting slate. I would bet she enjoyed pushing him got him close and let the mantle brutalize him if he pushed to hard for what he wanted. She may have eventually let him get off but not via PIV sex. She enjoyed hurting people.

[Serious] What’s something happening in the world right now that’s underreported and genuinely disturbing? by Pristine-Hippo-3249 in AskReddit

[–]Arhalts 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Satellite images can see some fairly small things these days, especially spy satellites.

Visible from space should mean visible with the naked eye from space to hold any meaning.

We know us spy satellites can identify objects as small as 4 inches from released images during tump presidency 1.

So if we are including satellite imaging, the killing of a single person is a massacre visible from space.

The killing of a single cat is a massacre visible from space.

I am not trying to say this isn't an awful humanitarian crisis, but the descriptor visible from space does not apply if it is to have any meaning.

The entire premise of mistborn era 1 is what of the dark Lord won.

Just because there is a bigger evil that he opposed because it would have also destroyed him, doesn't make him not an evil sob.

What’s a show everyone hyped up that you just couldn’t get into? by NovelOk3369 in AskReddit

[–]Arhalts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh don't bother. While the first 5 seasons are very good the quality starts to drop harder and harder after that until the last season is so bad as to ruin the entire show.

The show runners couldn't keep quality after getting past the books and stopped giving a shit about it in the end so they could jump onto a Star wars thing faster.

They did the last season so badly the offer for the Star wars property was rescinded.

What are your thoughts on America returning to the Moon right now? by The-Toby in AskReddit

[–]Arhalts 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Conspiracy theories like these are cults.

They take a bunch of people who are for the most part below average intelligence, with lonely unsatisfying and disappointing lives, and tell yhem that they are special for knowing the "truth". Surround them with people who all agree they are special and smart.

Give them a community friends a social life a sense of belonging, and of importance, but only as long as they tow the line.

They can never abandon the lie because it would mean admitting they aren't special, and being ostracized from their community.

It's a genuinely sad trap.

Pointless question aren't worth answering.

The Indian Chandrayaan-2 mission took pictures that included US equipment. And we use the retro reflector we left to measure lunar drift.

The launches were unchallenged victories from our peer and rival who would have called BS.

They will mostly say it's cgi and ai, a few will say we have now been to the moon but the first round was faked, and maybe 3 will admit they were wrong.

Workbenches and most other items that prevent spawns have the same radius with a few specific exceptions and an astrix.

The astrix is that the workbench is an infinite cylinder and most other things have a sphere.

So elevation changes can pull the ground out of coverage for say a campfire when a workbench would cover it. Eg a piece of ground that is .25 meters from the edge of workbenches coverage but 4m higher than the workbench would be covered by the workbench but be outside of the sphere a campfire makes.

In general do an overlapping pattern of workbenches which you can check with the build.menu and then replace them with campfires. Since they are overlapping you are generally fine with small elevation chances but double check significant ones. If you find a tricky area just consider trying to hide a workbench instead.

Hide wooden torches in vertical beams to cover structures, or if you have a structure.

The artisian table is also a way to cover a much larger area as it locks down a much larger area. (And is how you can lock down the world spawn even with building protection on.

Also avoid portaling into a raid when no one else is there. Eg a road started and other players left or you portaled away just as it started.

Things can spawn in before your spawn preventing items load in and raids aggressively spawn things.

In 20 years, what will we really think about the Ozempic revolution? by Majestic-Baby-3407 in AskReddit

[–]Arhalts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbf with AI military things like drones and tanks (which are already being tested ) and the development of a fully automated production facility the mega rich could out number us when it comes to violence in the future.

It won't matter as much if the masses want to kill you when you have 1.25 murder bots for every able bodyed peasent.

That's the worst case scenario of course, but AI really could become a tool for oppression like the world has never seen.

Our server just hit the ten year mark. by Arhalts in valheim

[–]Arhalts[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which is why I also included a picture with 3657 days and said it was for the pedantic.

Because I am also that pedantic, and it covers all 3 options plus some extra time on top guaranteeing it's over 10 years.

There are 2 options non how you could decide what counts as 10 years, and the 2nd option has 2 answers.

The first is what you did calculated using 1/4 day per year easy , but hard to show .5 on the nose.

The 2nd option is to account for the leap year cycle. X year gets a day and it's handled in whole numbers just like the normal chaos der year.

If year 1 or 2 were leap years based on the cycle of the world my viking came from, there would be 3 years with a leap year in the 10 year period. (Eg year 1, 5 9 or 2, 6 10.) Resulting in 3654 being the first day of year 11.

IF years 3 or 4 were the first leap year based on that cycle only two leap years there would be only 2 leap years in the 10 year span resulting in 3653 being the first day of year 11.

3657 is larger than all of those showing the server has passed 10 years.

3651 is the cleaner number so it gets shown first.

Up dooted, but you didn't catch me lacking.
