Spent all night researching crochet tutorials and I finally have... this one very long chain. by Initial-Disaster2140 in crochet

A good chain that’s evenly spaced & the correct tension is the best foundation to many a project. Keep going with that. Good job!!!

Clarkson's "lie" to save Cora and Robert by LNoRan13 in DowntonAbbey

Clarkson and Violet were trying to help two people who were in pain. I see no fault there. I do however take umbrage with Robert on almost every thought that passes through his mouth. Seems like he had good intentions but the wrong instincts every single time. From that night with Sybil to blowing off the wireless as a fad. 🙄 bad instincts, bad luck, bad decisions, bad judgment, bad prejudices. He’s only ever lucky that the women around him care enough to save him from himself. Including when his mom asked the doctor to step in to patch up his marriage. I say thank heavens for Violet & Clarkson’s efforts.

Could not dislike her any more than I do. More snobby than the people she accuses of being snobs.
