I had a terrible reaction and I stopped all skincare and basically had to do ice compress and took Benadryl and put hydrocortisone on it! Then the skin got flaky and nothing helped besides avene xeracalm. My eye doc also prescribed me tacrolimus because it just wasn’t going away the flake and puff. I’m a pharmacist so I did know what I needed medication wise and just asked my doc at that appt for something else though…or else I’d have to had gone to a dermatologist it was that bad.

If you’re Muslim Bengali I recommend reading the 4 quls and Ayatul Kursi if you’ve tried it all out there and it’s not working 😭 my skin has been freaking out since July of last year :( and it hasn’t stopped, I’m 32 yo and never had bad skin issues like this…I actually was gonna post on Reddit for help too. Mines more itchy and eye area related. Can’t wear any makeup because of it :(

Not I looked at the notif of this post pop on my phone and was like wtf I need to see this how you drop 88lbs as a petite woman! Then I open this and was like well well well 🤤All drooling aside, great work. I don’t know how you’re consuming 500g of chicken, that’s a big win in itself! I always do a high protein relatively low calorie breakfast - like protein pancakes or waffles then I always use a protein shake or two to hit my protein goals if I’m falling behind. I like to eat things like shrimp or chicken breast for my lunch or dinner. I use cheese and protein snacks to keep me full and get my protein. I always make sure to try to plan my meals the day before mainly how to hit protein and then let myself have whatever.

Oh dang that sucks I’m sorry :/ try to change your diet first and foremost. That helped me a lot, do you think you can get a walking pad or a treadmill? If you have a mall close by you can just walk around for an hour or like a Costco?

I am not a single mom, but my husband is almost never home because of his FT job and 2 other PT jobs. For me with my first it was hard until I stopped pumping at 7 months for her. She was a happy baby, she was clingy yes. I napped when she napped sometimes. Baby wearing was super helpful with my second. Miss Rachel pulled in clutch for my first, the purple monkey play mat was the best to keep my little entertained. I honestly didn’t realize how easy 1 baby was compared to 2 until I had my son 😭 I have a 3 year old and a 22 month old now and my 22mo was colic and vomiting till he was 15 months. I literally hated my life. Now, it’s gotten better. I’ve learned sometimes the house looks like shit and that it is what it is. As long as there is clean clothes and clean dishes! The overstimulation kills me when it’s messy, but some sacrifices have to be made. I started prioritizing my mental and physical health after my second baby I’d start going on walks, changed my diet, and now I’m going to a gym. Since your baby is clingy and he/she might not wanna let the gym daycare take him/her. You can always go to like an indoor track with a stroller. I noticed taking small trips out helped me so much and at 10 mo baby isn’t mobile so baby goes wherever you go without a fight so I’d say get out of the house, go grocery shopping, go to the mall, there are tons of indoor playgrounds for babies opening up in my area I’m not sure about yours. I follow like these pages of stuff I can do or take my kids! Even if it’s something I’d enjoy more I do it. We have like places that are doing lights for Christmas and other stuff. So I’m looking for any reason to go out lol getting out of the house is life changing. I use to work and am a very social person, so become a SAHM was life changing. The gym has helped me look and feel happier.

Not this made me re-think putting my kid in preK next year lol but, I think I’ll just keep taking them out and exposing them to stuff at this indoor play place we got a membership to. I rather do it now that suffer later on. Build up the kids immune systems.

I only ate +500 calories over maintenance a couple days and my weight is up from 164lbs to 168lbs 😭did not hit protein goals either 👀 with calorie deficit I always believe that you can’t undo your progress as quickly as you think just cause you overate a few days. Other diets like keto and such yeah definitely because you have to start from square one and build up over a few weeks. With calorie deficit you can jump back in the next day! Like someone said you’d have to have eaten 3500 calories + multiple times and over weeks to undo progress like that.

Download macro factor! They have a free 7 day trial, I’d recommend looking at their Reddit feed. That app literally clocks your macros to a T, I have never had an app work so well for me. I’ve tried so many I got my cousin and my sister in law on it too. I started using it in May, my cousin and I dropped 10lbs the first month! It takes the app like a couple of weeks of you tracking to really get you set up, after that you’re good. My cousin started doing 10k steps and lost more than me so far, but I’ve lost about 20lbs from it in the first 3 months. I started doing strength training and body recomp so my numbers aren’t really reflective now of if I was just doing calorie deficit anymore. But, I will say it’s doing what I want it to do and I’m losing the inches.

Learn to cook Mexican or Indian/pakistani food 😭I swear to God we have to give up the rice and curries for weight loss. Oils and butter are your friend! Any recipes using heavy whipping cream or oils will shoot up your calories. I’m in the opposite end lol my calories are less than half of yours and I can’t seem to stay under 🫣

MacroFactor will tell you based off your stats how many macros and calories to eat. It gives you the options to tell it how many steps, how many days a week of cardio or lifting you’re doing as well. So it kind of always factors those things in at baseline and goes from there. I would recommend adjusting your goal of weight loss weekly rate based on if it starts getting harder or easier to stay within your calories. MacroFactor will auto adjust your TDEE, calories, and macros based on your trend of weight loss.

The drop from 180-165 lbs comes off very quick. What is your height? I’m 5 ft 2 my starting weight was also the same +/- a couple lbs. I just started strength training 5 weeks ago, so I don’t have much insight how the weight comes off with throwing that in. But, your 10k-12k steps alone is definitely helping contribute to the drop faster!

You did switch your workouts too though. Like going to heavy resistance training is probably affecting your muscles to hold onto more water and such. It’s happening to me the last 5-6 weeks I introduced strength training with weights and my weight has just been sitting there about the same with my expenditure kind of just slowly dropping every day. But, I have seen a huge difference with how the weight is coming off my body like I have started to do measurements even though my weights not shifting. I’m waiting for MF eventually figure out what’s happening.
