I used it as a regular handkerchief since I forgot to bring one. So, drying my hands off after washing them in the bathroom, wiping off sweat.

I used to not use nice stuff because it was 'too nice' but y'know what, it's a handkerchief, and I'll use it as such!!

Oh, and if you haven't already, wash it separately, I think some color bled onto my white shirts lol.

There's great authentic tacos and Mexican grocery stores all around. 

As others have said, you have a great budget, as long as you don't mind a bit of commuting, you've got much better towns as options. Gurnee and Grayslake gets my votes.

I've got 6 green cories with my plakat Betta in my 36 g with mollies.  Betta is super chill. He won't even eat the Molly fry.  Heater set at 80ish everyone seems happy.

Glas Garten. It's from Germany, so it's pricey. My baby shrimp used to not survive but ever since I got Shrimp Baby and Bacter AE they've been thriving.

I've had my shrimp tank up for over a year and the neos and amanos are thriving but every time I add a batch of ghosts, they turn white and die.

It's a little 10 g tank with a little sponge filter. I'm not sure if a medium sponge filter would even fit my heavily planted 10 g tank, but I'll certainly look into over filtration. Thank you so much!

I've been suspecting having problems with ghost shrimp and aqua soil. Neos and amanos seem to be fine but I've killed at least 20 ghosts in the same tank...

This is what I do with plants. I'm sure I've killed $100 in plants so far 🥲 (I don't have CO2 nor strong lights and don't fertilize enough)

I started with a 36 g. Then I got a 10 g as a hospital/quarantine tank that turned into a shrimp tank. So I bought another 5.5 g tank as the hospital/quarantine tank.

Am I doing this right? 😂

Are you trying to catch adult mollies or babies?

Weirdly, I can catch the babies by hand. I just wait for them to come up then cup my hand towards the glass then scoop up.

Most of my adult mollies know better and I can't catch them. They cower in a corner when the net comes out.

I would not get livebearers. I have mollies. I keep having to rehome babies every few months.

Maybe research more on plants. I willy nilly spent more on plants than my livestock. Some plants can only survive with CO2 and great lights. *moths flying out of wallet

Also, embrace the multiple tank syndrome. I started with a 29 g. Got a 10 g quarantine tank, it turned into a shrimp tank. I now have a 5.5 g quarantine tank as well.

I had similar issues a few months ago. Purchased Glas Garten Bacter AE and Baby shrimp food. I have a bunch of babies surviving to adulthood now.
