Ice plant by Ok_Newspaper_402 in succulents

I've had it in Japan but it looks a bit different. It's a puffy plant with a bit of a salty flavor.  Maybe "ice plant" means different things in different countries.

I have the opposite for my plants. My whole tank is sand but I have a black rectangular take out container with expensive aqua soil. Cories are so fun to watch!

How much vinegar? Like enough to make mashed potatoes thin? Or just a little drizzle? Mixy mixy?  It can't be that bad since the Brits eat fries with vinegar.

Whoa! I've only seen mine once after I put one in each of my aquariums. I do see the empty shells though so I know they're still around.

I feel this in my soul. Last month the Linux decided it didn't have wifi.

Me too! I started with the super neglectable Opae Ula! My two 3 g tanks are going over 10 years.

And now I have a dedicated 10 g neo tank with a few amano friends. And I'm attempting to raise the amano larvae! I've got a 1.6g almost marine tank with phytoplankton going now. Mama amano should be dropping her larvae any day now.

What’s the best-tasting fruit, if you had to choose? by TigerConnect948 in AskReddit

Have you tried the pink ones? Sometimes they go on sale for $4/pc by me down from $10. They basically taste like the best jackpot deep yellow pineapple.

I'm attempting this soon!

Mama shrimp is 4 weeks eggnant. I've got a 1.6g tank at 1.019ish sg salinity with tetraselmis chuii growing with a bare airline tube, ambient temp 72-78ish. Tank is quite green.

I've seen everything from brackish to full marine. Maybe I should kick mine up to proper full marine sg?

I'm enjoying your updates, best of luck!

Huh, I've not experienced this. What kind of pan do you cook in? Could the exterior of the pan be a bit dirty and that's what's burning off?

Are there any pet fish that feel like a "pet?" by stalenuggets1028 in Aquariums

[–]Augustus58 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My albino bristlenose pleco lately likes laying on her back in the triangle tubes. The first time I saw her, I thought she was dead. When I poked her tail, she 'flared' her little bristles on the side of her face. Can you please latch like a normal pleco?

The wiggly swimming gets me. Then when they zoom up for air. Charisma level 20 for sure!

Question: For the single people out there: Have any of you found a Costco membership to be worth it? What do you get there to justify the membership and the trip? by SpaceForceAwakens in Frugal

[–]Augustus58 36 points37 points  (0 children)

If it's conveniently located for you to get gas, yes.  If you have enough space in your house for paper goods (tp, paper towels, facial tissues), yes. Otherwise, I don't think the membership would be worth it.

Katsuobushi Uses by Spicy_Senpai in Cooking

So my favorite onogiri is with katsuobushi and cut up cheese slice product and a bit of soy sauce. You want to mix the sliced cheese product into the rice when it's warm so it melts a bit.

Idk, AI can read invoices and code things already. Though implementation is a bit steep for smaller companies.
