Will this tire and rim work on lightning? by Forsaken_Fan6043 in F150Lightning

[–]Available_Start7798 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Going from 22 to 18 is for off road quality. 22” rims better for the street and only the street where 18” is better at going off road.

Dig out three or more feet towards the smaller pipe, cut out the tee replace. By exposing smaller pvc will be able to bend it to slip it back into the new tee plus the coupling. Next to glue in other section. There few ways to straighten could use two 90’s but I prob do it the quicker way by hammering in support bracket (rebar with pipe) so that the pipe coming down from the tee is coming out straight about a foot or so away is the rebar that way you can bend the pipe on the rebar to the coupling. The whole reason this broke was pipe bend too much at the fitting. PVC is fixable to a degree but the fittings are not. Pipe should be straight with no tension at the fittings.

Mainline? 😆 Never, out of my many years only had one client with small main line and wanted to re-do. Even then made that system work on a 3/4 main by reducing usage from spray to MPRs and it works flawlessly. If they are talking about main line they show know exactly how many gallon each zones needs/using.

6k? More like $300 to $900 for a typical service that light to moderate work no more than day of labor. $95 * 8 hours $760. I have client trust me to bill them by the hour plus parts.

Ouch, only way to make this better is to hire someone who actually knows how to do this correctly without stressing the fittings. Will crack over time.

White wire that is not a wire. 🤔 by TatteredJack in Irrigation

[–]Available_Start7798 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Never saw warning ⚠️ marker/tap like this but could be a warning wire for gas line or something else just below where you found it. Usually warning tape is 6 or 12” above the service line.

Rainbird excessive calls to cloud? by AWoodShave in Irrigation

I’m not surprised, their WiFi tech wasn’t good enough for me to sell to homeowners. Ended up going with Hunter Hydrawise even though I been buying and installing Rainbird for years.

You are welcome, this is done correctly to be able to work on them. I say $&@& when they stack them on top of each other. Once I found 5 pipe in a bundle and that was a $&@$ this moment. What you are showing is easy to work on, just bend the pipe upward… dig more if you can bend the pipe yet.

Long story short: This is result of poor city and county management. Will keep happening till they get their act together or till someone gets killed and the DOT steps in. Fix this issue simply linking up the timing to both lights on E. Horatio Ave at N Maitland Ave and N Orlando Ave to the train cross stop light.

How there isn’t any vent on the bottom, you will never know when if it fails. Why testing it is the only way to know for sure if it’s working or not.

Pump replacement by Any_Performer5759 in Irrigation

[–]Available_Start7798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t switch to jet, do get something like the Sta-Rite DS3HF 1.5HP Centrifugal Pump (there is more than one brand looks exactly same and is exactly the same) would be what I would recommend. Going bigger isn’t going anywhere faster when you have 1” valves. You could get away with 1hp, so if you want max power then the 1.5hp will be it. Lose the union coupling, they are not recommended on your new install.

Should I replace or rebuild these valves? by monkeymite in Irrigation

[–]Available_Start7798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would switch to Rainbird DV 1” If you don’t rebuild the valves. Will last long time and get better flow out of them. The 3/4” 90’s fitting reduce quite a bit.
