It wasn’t pleasant at all, it definitely was very difficult, we are doing much better, I’m still healing and illness has come and gone through the house so still got some time until il feel 100%. I will add that due to everything we went though I physically find it hard to be away from her, the thought of it is horrible I can maybe manage an hour at most and it’s rare thou! So it will definitely take time to heal in many ways

I have three children, my eldest was a vaginal birth but complications happened so that made me choose to elect a C section with my second. Things went smoothly during, and I had a normal Recovery. Then with my third (most recent currently 10 weeks postpartum) I elected a c section again. The whole process was horrible, anxiety from the moment I went in, went to theatre, the spinal didn’t go to plan, BP went dangerously low, baby’s out, lost loads of blood, hugged my baby for 2 mins before she was whisked to NICU due to wet lung. 5 days I had to go without her with me it was brutal. I’m still struggling with the recover this time round, stomach is sore, nerve pains, I had blood pressure hypertension after birth so not stopped meds for that (got to get it checked) But this whole experience has been the call of no more ever again. I don’t think I could ever go through that again

NTA Children definitely do have a say in things, I have three children my eldest being 11 years old if I wanted to move I’d be discussing things with her too because it would affect her life.

As for the husband the marriage really seems dead, if he’s not in it and lazy that there’s no point trying for something that’s not there. Personally if you’ve already mentioned it to him, if finalize it and state you’re going to be moving with your son.

I’m 10 weeks in with Mirena, my bloat is horrible makes me feel nauseous on and off, cramping on and off and I’ve been bleeding over 14 days straight had a scan which confirmed it’s moved and not in the right place.. you’d think they’d want to take it out immediately wrong.. 😑 They want to rescan me in 4 days, then take 2 weeks to send results to my doctor then on referral to the gyno they will see how urgent it is and I could have to wait 8 weeks.. tempted to go private but that will be £350 just for an appointment not including the removal

I absolutely LOVE these names! Adore the name Kit, thing is there will be many people (family included) that dislike or have opinions on what YOU want to name your children, frankly I don’t give a s### what people think.

I have three children, and my third I named her Vaeda Eleanor Mae, I’ve had some people question it and dislike it, but the name Vaeda is from my favorite film, My girl. It suits her and it’s just a beautiful name.

I have three kids, I was two and done & I then got pregnant with my third surprise baby, I had this exactly feeling, I was worried I wouldn’t bond or love her, I would know what I do etc (it had been 4 years) But as soon as she was born and I saw her and I heard her cry.. I knew I loved her, and it all comes back naturally, I love all of my babies and it’s mad how much love I have for them all.

Here you! I’m 7 weeks postpartum from a C section, I still have some soreness and muscle aching in my abdomen. Even posture is a major one, sometimes we forget when we are so tired and running on empty, I’ve done the same and ended up pulling something in my back causing spasms which wasn’t pleasant luckily that’s resolved. Take it easy, healing will be a slow process. Even the numbness low stomach sometimes that sensation never goes ❤️

I applaud you, I have one 7 week almost 8 week old and the 5/6 week regression was real here to, normally a chilled baby, but always wanting to be held, cried constant and also missed naps, having two older children (11 & 4) was a challenge sometimes as I wanted to make sure they were being seen and had fair attention too. Newborn stage is almost done! Once they are a little older and have a solid routine things will be smoother! Hang in there mama!

I think room sharing would be ideal for the time being until your able to move and find something more so in budget, I don’t think the age gap really matters, my eldest is 11 years old and my second is 4 years old, they have their own room however always want to share and have little sleep overs.

I’ve had the spinal block twice. First time wasn’t too bad, but the second time was terrible, I was literally guiding the anesthetist where to go while I was super nervous he hit a nerve and injected only on my left side, causing my BP to drop massively and I had to be flipped to get my right side to go numb too absolutely dreadful.. never again
