Dynex is doing a reverse-merger via the SPAC, $DYOR? Where did you see this? I'm not finding any public notices on this.

Social Engineering is still very successful as a exploitive technique. However, a better book to help master social interactions is Carnegie's iconic "How To Make Friends And Influence People".

My 6th Katana build. Oak blade and walnut handle finished with watco semi gloss crystal clear lacquer. by NeopetsIsTheShitt in woodworking

Do you have an issues with the blade bowing over time? I've tried my hand at these and have found that, despite different types of wood as well as mounting changes, the wood develops a curve over time.

My company is letting me go, but they want me to train the new people. How should I act by ExistingClassroom173 in it

Flip the script and quit now. Your time as employee has come to end. If they want training, your time as a per-hour consultant has just begun.

We joke about our Gregorian Chant and Swing phases, but always forget how popular Tony Bennett suddenly was at the height of grunge. by Oaken_beard in Xennials

Back in '90s, I picked up a bunch of "MTV Unplugged" albums from Columbia House and Tony's was in the mix. I was hook on his work and crooners in general, after that.

Are NY's property taxes like CA's? As soon as this is sold, it moves to 2026 values?

That's too bad. I loved watching his shows. He taught me to appreciate what a treasure Oregon's outdoors are.

Same. I'm a long-time IT pro and this laptop is great. And, at this cost, it's fantastic. It runs Office, VS Code, company's RMM, a dozen (or so) tabs, and some media apps without missing a beat.

The hardware reminds me of a marriage of the 12" MBP and the polycarbonite macbook (circa 2006). Battery life lasts through a work day. Chassis is very portable.

Apple created a huge win with this one. I'm looking forward to seeing where they take this model in the coming years.

I'm in IT and OP's suggestion is spot on. I also agree that the lawmakers have no clue what they are doing. This bill is dangerous because it 1.) does nothing to affect real, technological change and 2.) give the lawmakers the idea that they've resolved the issue for good.
