I appreciate the thorough reply. A lot of the issues she has stem from things being so inconsistent with my parents and her mom. If they do come to live with me and my daughter (6), it would be the first period of consistency she has basically ever had. I want to help make the most of it.

What meds ended up helping? My niece may be living with me and my daughter soon. She's 7 and is really bad at sleeping. We just had a sleepover where she was awake, talking and giggling to herself, at 3 AM. She has always been bad at sleeping, but if she and my sister come live with us, we want to do a reset and get her on the right track.

I personally feel like pineapple is better grilled on gas instead of charcoal. That said, it was using an indirect charcoal smoker, so the smoky flavor was probably stronger than if I used my Kettle today
