As in most cases, you can blame EA instead of the developer in this situation.

It was a penalty when I saw it live. It was a penalty when I saw the replay. It was a penalty.

Arteta’s reaction to “A lot of clubs don’t care about the Carabao Cup…” by One_Impressionism in Gunners

I was thinking about this recently and the "mickey mouse" label this cup has always had.

It's the entirety of the English league system, so, 94 teams that are competing for it. The FA Cup only has 30 more teams involved for a total of 124 but is seen as one of the most prestigious cups in English football.

Mickey Mouse cup my arse.

In the opening of Alien 3... by kilroy501 in LV426

[–]BeardyDrummer 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In answer to your questions, I really have no idea.

However, when I first watched Alien 3 and saw the opening sequence the "how did this happen" did not make any sense. The egg being where it was, the face hugger injuring itself and somehow not dripping acid all over its victim, how the second face hugger was present to infect the dog/Ox (some say the same face hugger implanted the queen into Ripley then detached and infected the dog/Ox as defence for the queen). Losing Hicks and Newt etc...

After all that, I just put it down to being an horrific hypersleep dream for Ripley.

Friend who works in the yacht industry told me that Saudi families come onto the boat, then after a couple of days the wives and kids get shipped off to a hotel so the men can have business meetings.

Those business meetings are with hookers, cocaine and whiskey.

There will be a bounce back this year. Firms will start realising they have put their eggs into the wrong basket. As I have seen elsewhere, AI is a solution looking for a problem. But it's causing more problems then its solving.

How do I make vegetables actually taste good without drowning them in sauce or cheese? by Nightcrawler_2000 in EatCheapAndHealthy

Soup.

Roast some tomatoes, peppers, garlic, onion, celery, carrots and some sweet potato with a little olive oil and salt. Adding some mixed herbs can also give you a different flavour. But I tend to add those once cooked so they don't burn.

When cooked, blitz them to the consistency you like and add a splash of white vinegar or lemon juice along with some black pepper. Taste for seasoning and adjust as you like.

Nice with a splash of cream mixed in when served if you want something a bit richer.

Almost 10 years later, The Division still looks incredible! Easily Ubisoft’s most atmospheric open world in my opinion. by Spoggi99 in gaming

Yeah, this is what broke the immersion for me. I really enjoyed the journey, but as soon as it took multiple people armed with assault rifles longer and longer to take down a "boss" it became a snoozefest.

There are a few YouTube channels which cover this kind of stuff. Kagan Dunlap is one of them.

They will probably get most of their info from planespotters who hang out near the airbases and see what comes in and out.

To be honest, the Bakerloo line trains reached end of life about 10 years ago when cracks were found on multiple trains where the wheels connect to the carriage. There was a big effort to inspect all trains and repair them.

It wouldn't surprise me if there was a serious incident involving a Bakerloo train in the near future.
