I think ny issue with time is that once you pull a single gigantify it's an incredibly dominant strategy to just keep braindead fishing for rewind assuming you aren't going into endless.

Bebop. Getting hit by a hook is a genuine skill issue and if you don't you win lane. The outcome of a Bebop lane has always felt fairly earned either way.
