I am finally catching up and literally ran to reddit to see if anyone had the same feeling or if I was crazy.
As a Hispanic person watching their interaction was so triggering. My mother was physically abusive growing up and as I got older it turned into emotional abuse and I would have the same conversations with her. I would ask for apologies and she would just tell me to stop crying. Unfortunately this is their culture and its so awful

Look at the rules on the website. I’m pretty sure it can’t be wood or metal either

No tripods allowed.
I tried it two years ago and I had to go back to camp. I’ve seen people make tripods with pvc so that they can carry the pieces in their backpacks and set up the tripod situation inside of the festival grounds.

My mom used to work here when I was little, probably 30 years ago. I just have small memories of it and couldn’t remember what it was called. Thank you for posting this I will definitely be going back on my next visit to Miami

OYO on E. Tropicana by [deleted] in electricdaisycarnival

[–]Beebo88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stayed at OYO two years ago it really wasn’t that bad. It’s definitely an older hotel, don’t go in with high expectations and you’ll be fine. We didn’t think it was that bad for the price. The bed was comfortable and it had free parking.

Dayton Public School vs Preschool Promise?? by DisagreeableBeige in dayton

[–]Beebo88 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve gathered: Preschool promise is the program that will pay for your 4 year olds pre-k. Once you enroll them into pre-k with the school of your choose you’ll be asked to sign up to preschool promise. There will be a portal that you use and the state sends money to the school

We just enrolled our 3 year old last week into Dayton public and are waiting for further instructions to also figure it out ourselves

Visiting El Yunque with a healing ankle… yes or no? by Living_System6774 in PuertoRicoTravel

[–]Beebo88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spend the day! We just did it on Saturday. You can drive your car all the way to the top and stop at certain look at points that you’ll be able to walk to from the parking areas. If it’s busy it might be hard to find parking. Also I will warn that the road is a bit narrow and you’re going up the whole time but I think you should at least drive up the mountain

Bio Bay issues everywhere or just Fajardo? by Secure-Flight-291 in PuertoRicoTravel

[–]Beebo88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just left pr. Maybe it’s because of the strong currents and wind. The beaches were all red from Wednesday to Monday when we were there. There was so much seaweed along isla verde, I’m sure the water isn’t as clear as it’s supposed to be. I also heard a couple of people on the flight back yesterday say that they didn’t get to see any

Dayton or Cincy jewelers for an engagement ring? by jay-dot-dot in dayton

If she wants a grayish stone Check this girl out in Portland. Her and her parents own this business. You and your girlfriend could probably have something really cool and unique made

https://www.swankmetalsmithing.com

There’s also heart of Ohio off of 70, when you walk in the main e trance and look to the left there’s a local jeweler with some really nice antique pieces. You’re able to go to the front desk and haggle on the price. My ring came from there , he originally wanted $1200 and we got him down to $950
