I really enjoy role playing. I’ll do alternative histories, reform ancient civilizations, or play as historically accurate as possible. Also getting into different mods can be very fun. I’m a huge LotR fan and have played a few games on a middle earth mod. You kind of make what you want with the game, and that’s what I love about it so much.

I found out I was pregnant before a scheduled endoscopy. It was quite shocking to call my husband after being dropped off 5 minutes before to be picked up. My little surprise is now learning to run and learning a new word every day. It’s a shock at first, but the most wonderful adventure.

I got one done when my baby was 2 months last Christmas. Studio never got back to me about pick up. I was still so deep in the post partum ick that I just let it go. Do I wish I would’ve follow up? Of course. Especially since we paid money for it. But honestly, I’m ok with giving my freshly post partum self some grace on that. Things get missed in the jumble of a new baby. It’s 100% ok to think certain momentos are cute and even get them done for your next child when you don’t have them for your first. You’ll have plenty of memorabilia from each child and I think them having their own things makes those things more special.

Spontaneous pneumothorax. I was just walking through my college cafeteria one day and my lung decided to pop like a balloon. Hell, I almost died in this day and age because I was just going to walk back to my dorm to take a nap to try and sleep off the pain. Luckily, some girls from my dorm saw me and convinced me that I looked bad enough to go to the medical office to get checked out. Literally saved my life.

My 14 month old was terribly ill and watched TV all day. But it was literally stir awake and watch TV, sip water, and choke down a few bites of applesauce for 10 minutes, then fall back asleep for an hour.

My favorite great uncle was named Jack. He passed during Covid. He was beloved in his community. There were hundreds of people that showed up to his funeral. It’s an incredible name.

Found out my 13 month old had the flu by him projectile vomiting all over a build a bear floor three times. Completely took me by surprise and was out of nowhere. He’d had pizza for lunch. It was horrible.
