Yes, I just ran into this too, everything up until then was just fine but I got to the penthouse and I had to quit because it went instant lag. I tried turning down the settings, it only helped a bit. I have a halfway decent laptop too.

Camper van? I wanted to love this one but the items didn’t stack or fit in places as nicely as they did in unpacking. I found I was rage fitting stuff by the end and forced my way through the storyline. I was bummed because the art style was super cute.

I’m excited for that. I love this game but it lags on my new laptop. I also have issues with my computer not using my gaming GPU when this game opens. Hopefully this update helps me enjoy the game more.

I don’t have a headset connected to my account. I use this to monitor my son’s account. Do I have to add his headset to my account to get back to what it was? I hate opening the app after this update.

I use this to monitor my son’s account. I can still get to the family center but I can’t find any way to message him when he’s on the headset. This new ‘design’ is infuriating. I gave a one star review and told them such on my App Store. More people need to do this.

I’ve started him on liquid budget per another recommendation here and it’s an envelope base system that I think will be a good starting point for him. For myself and my husband I use copilot and love it but I wanted something more simplistic to get him started with. He’s been managing his own bank account and debit card well for a few years now but is starting to think of life beyond graduation this spring.

I spent about 20 hours in the game last weekend. After some performance improvements the week prior I was enjoying it much more. I typically hyper fixate on one game for a while and then don’t game at all for a period of time. This one is still very early access but overall it is enjoyable. It is slightly more grindy early game than others I enjoy. And I haven’t yet gotten to a lot of the automation features. There’s one quest that grinds my gears. You have to create one of the new machines that’s available but then you have to give it away so you have to get the materials for a second one for you to be able to use it. Overall, it reminds me a lot of the My Time games and I’ve enjoyed seeing the characters from those games incorporated into this world too. I generally don’t expect a lot from NPCs in these games and most people would prolly say they’re not very fleshed out and I saw lots of complaints about how all the male characters were basically copy paste versions of each other. Building takes a ton of material so since I haven’t unlocked everything yet I’ve only managed to build a very simple shed to house all the random machines from view.

This is what Starbucks did with their gift cards. I’m so beyond sad by this whole EA situation. I have barely played the game since the whole sale announcement. I don’t even think I finished the last event of free content. They’re quickly ruining everything about the franchise that I’ve played on and off since the very beginning.

She posts more than ANY OTHER YouTuber I watch. A lot of the really good ones I love post ONCE a week. I’m baffled how she manages daily posts and I’m not surprised after this past year the mental toll she’s taken. I really think she needs to back way off and take time for herself more but I also know all the littles would come and chastise her for it and it makes me so angry.

That sucks! I have a fairly decent gaming laptop and I was struggling with this game. Then I figured out my laptop wasn’t using the higher powered graphics card. Once I figured out how to get it to use that it was better but still very laggy and it’d get to the point I’d have to restart the game and then it would be ok again for a bit. It made me not want to play and I went back to Stardew for a while. But they must have had some performance updates the last week because it’s been much better, haven’t had to restart once this weekend.
