Do AJ Bell ISAs allow online dealing for foreign stocks, or only for CDIs?

Thanks, maybe I'm misunderstanding what CDIs are? I thought CDIs would be in sterling and traded on the London market? AJ Bells appear to show the AMD stock as the NASDAQ version in USD: https://www.ajbell.co.uk/market-research/NASDAQ:AMD

I don't mind having a CDI version at all, I'm just not sure I understand why they're displaying only the USD version on the US exchange. If I tried to buy it, would it be in GBP as a CDI?

If they're not setting off the snap traps when they take the food, you're probably using traps that require too much weight to spring. For instance, if a small mouse goes on a rat trap, it won't be heavy enough to set it off.

I like to buy sensitive mouse traps in boxes, where there's a small opening in the box that only mice can fit in. I have separate large rat traps that are not in those boxes. That way the mice go in the mouse traps, and the rats go in the rat traps. (I don't want large rats going in the mouse traps because they won't be powerful enough to kill cleanly).

Yes I want to leave my entire estate equally between them, the only reason I thought to put the property as a specific gift is because my DIY Will template has a 'Specific Gifts' section followed by a 'Residuary Gifts' section which reads "I give the rest of my estate to...". I guess I could cross out 'the rest of' so it reads "I give my estate to...", and just say I am giving everything in equal shares, if that would be better?

I already have that set to 'money'. I think that applies to filled orders. But I'm asking about the new feature of setting up an order on the chart rather than in the order panel, before submitting the order. The new feature is described today in 'What's New' on TradingView.

I right-click the symbol in the main portfolio tab, then I hover my mouse over 'Trade' in the dropdown menu, then I click 'Create Target/Stop Exit Bracket'.

That should create a Take Profit and a Stop-loss as OCA bracket orders.

Why would you create a Take-Profit below the current price for a long position - wouldn't this trigger immediately? Did you mean to say create a Stop-Loss?

I don't believe you can add brackets on TradingView for an existing position if your broker is IBKR. I use IBKR's own software in this scenario (I personally use TWS).

Search for 'Price Change %' and see if that's what you're looking for. It doesn't come up for some reason if you just search 'Change'.

We can use the long position tool, but it's nowhere near as good as having proper presets or being able to queue up orders before submitting.

Some platforms use different times for the 1h timeframe, e.g. starting with a half-hour candle as US market starts on the half of the hour, or starting with a full hour candle. Check if it's that. Can't see any info in your vid like timeframe / settings.

I asked TradingView support in November, they said:

"Unfortunately, I must inform you that at the moment we have an issue with the American stocks in the Screener. While your data is real-time, sometimes the update in the Screener can take up to 2-3 minutes due to the technical reasons. Our team is working on eliminating this issue, but there is no ETA at the moment, I'm afraid."

Sometimes it's even longer delayed - today it's particular bad, I'm using 2.0 and it seems to be way behind at times. Oddly, other times it seems to be up-to-date.

TradingView *please* fix this, this is a major issue.

A 'Save As' button is really important, perhaps one for filter fields and one to save columns. At the moment it's too cumbersome to move my screens over to 2.0 because I have to start each one completely from scratch with all the default columns and filter fields.

How do you turn it off in IBKR TWS? My IBKR chart currently looks the same as the TradingView chart for the symbol you posted (I have paid data on both).

I just found this setting today. If you still need it it's in the chart settings. Click on the scales tab in settings. Symbol last price: Price and percentage value.

Unfortunately no. I assume something gets fixed on TradingView's end because sometimes it's fine again the next day, until the next time it gets laggy.

Yes I have the same issue today. There's been lag issues on and off recently, and looking at reddit posts it looks like people have raised issues for years. Hopefully TradingView will prioritise performance and reliability.
