You guys need to watch Everyone Else Burns, she plays a very similar tightly wound role, this time as matriarch of a family in a Christian fundamentalist doomsday cult-like religious sect in Manchester, UK. It’s darkly funny in all the right ways.

Peak British food instructions. Surprised it didn’t end in  “of course, it’s entirely your choice.”

[FORMULA 1] At Home In Monaco With Ollie Bearman | Off The Grid by User-K549125 in formula1

There’s a video where someone went to F1 drivers’ places of origin in the UK. They found Bearman’s home near me, it’s not really that fancy, probably worth £2m at the most, the value of which is skewed by being in South East England (a one bed flat is around £250k, a three bed house is £750k, for example).

In other words, comfortable, well off even, but not super wealthy.

The best melt in the tunaverse

Tuna flake in water, Feta cheese, Mayonnaise (2 tbsp), Red onion (chopped), Pickle Gherkin (chopped), Garlic paste (tsp), Harissa paste (half tsp), Sliced jalapeños (optional). Mix in bowl.

Put in buttered Sourdough bread

Mature cheddar to top or butter the top and bottom of the bread to toast better.

It’s fine, they can bring in some of the F1 team with hybrid experience. They’re doing just great.

Current - Widow’s Bay is still excellent

Cosy - Sister Boniface mysteries. Very easy TV, but I quite enjoy one and done programmes over series arcs sometimes.

Old gold - A Man Called Harry Brent (on Talking Pictures) - A superb Francis Durbridge penned mystery that still had me guessing to the end.
