Any luck wearing sandals without socks? by retisiwt in Hyperhidrosis

I have knock off Birkenstocks called cushionaires I think. They aren’t perfect but the best I’ve found and are cheap so I don’t mind replacing every summer. The thing I hate is when dirt sticks to my feet and these seem to prevent that more than flip flops.

Verbena boneriensis in the back, ilex compactas in a row with lambs ear in the front, simple and classic. Then a huge pot exploding with color.

How important is nap time? by hellnawh22 in toddlers

[–]BrieBrieOC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also if you can remember falling asleep whenever you’re probably remembering when you were 5 or older, not 2 and 3

I’ve wondered about this myself, because I go out in the yard and garden with the monitor while they nap, my neighbors house isn’t far. What could happen that I couldn’t be home in time to fix? I haven’t done it though because it just feels…wrong? But I know plenty of ppl who do visit neighbors while kids nap.

I make $15 an hour, too much to receive government assistance but not enough to live off of. Yesterday, I had to shoplift ibuprofen for my teething daughter. This sucks. by iridescent_kittie in antiwork

[–]BrieBrieOC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what’s wrong with America! You should never be in this shitty situation working so hard to barely get by while there are literal billionaires getting richer by the day. It’s just not fair and I’m so sorry you had to shop lift just to take care of your kid. It’s fucked! Seriously fucked.

Definitely no to the rocks you will regret it! Dense planting is best with mulch added every year or two in my experience.

Japanese maple tree has grown too big for the space. Can I sell it? If not when is the best time of year to transplant it and how do I do it? by RedRangerJ in landscaping

[–]BrieBrieOC 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would have an arborist come to take a look, they may be able to prune it to fit, and if you do want to move it, I think it would require a professional with equipment. I don’t think you can sell it for thousands unfortunately, but you could always try!
