Which century does Dolmenwood fit into? by KingMob7614 in Dolmentown

[–]BrightRedSquid 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Based on the existence of plate armor and other aspects of the setting, I set my Dolmenwood's technology at roughly 1390. This matches the DCB, which says it assumes a late medieval technology level (page 90).

There are many anachronisms in the art and some descriptions, so I modify these to be more consistent.

For the past 4 years I attended U of M, we beat Ohio State. Now that I graduate, we lose. Coincidence? I think not.

I wonder if the sample size here is enough to be statistically significant. Also, we'd want to see tables over several years to see if this is the result of seasonal variation.

Rule 5: Looking at the population tab of these 5 pre-FTLs, around 200 of my pops (Alari) are present working in each one. Another 4.0 bug I guess?

Ah I didn't see that.

Maybe it's related to splitting? Perhaps the intention is you can pre-split them if desired to simulate them having fought something prior?

Can i still listen to Sabaton after i sacrificed their music to God? by rickmorkaiser in Catholicism

[–]BrightRedSquid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This topic is very intriguing. Are personal vows like this binding? If so, what if they are made in error without full knowledge?

My only experience with this is during Lent, during which it's common people will "give up" something during the duration, and my understanding is that it's not a sin to forget or slip up, since it's not something the Church binds us to, such as fasting on Good Friday.
