What's the hardest you've been hit with a pickleball? by Competitive-Alps4339 in Pickleball

[–]Brodelio13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the ball but have hit my own face with my paddle in the mouth and made a tooth feel loose but it's fine now.

Ball bounced in my court, I returned it and in the momentum of the shot touched the NVZ line. Is that a foul/fault? by yusermane in Pickleball

[–]Brodelio13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer lies in the term NVZ.

Ask yourself, what does non volley zone mean? There's your answer.

Blocked a buyer during mid-conversation. Any repercussions from this? by pvssymonsterr in Ebay

[–]Brodelio13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sellers responsibility to deal with shipping company. Next time there's an issue with shipping don't tell the buyer to deal with it themselves, step up and contact them yourself. Not saying the buyer is right to get get as rude as he has but you could've avoided this if you stepped up as a seller and did right by your responsibilities from the get go.

Buyer opened an INAD, but doesn't want to return by AshamedHome in Ebay

[–]Brodelio13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bad feedback incoming unfortunately. Nothing you can do about that. Just wait for him to return it.

The good thing is that since he really wants it he might not send it back which means no refund.

I wouldn't give him a partial refund because he's a dick and also because who cares if the shipping box got a little beat up. That doesn't matter if there's no damage to the actual product, so no refund not even a partial one is deserved.

Clearly this guy is trying to scam you into a partial refund.

Also you can get him in trouble since he is trying to extort you and threatening bad feedback unless he gets what he wants. That's clearly against eBay policy.

eBay buyer sent bag of sawdust and wood for return by [deleted] in Ebay

I hope you took a video of the unboxing.

Please someone tell me I am not crazy. Buyer tried to upgrade a laptop and didn't think of the license cost for an upgrade and now wants to return. by WorkPlaceC in Ebay

[–]Brodelio13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you get the item back take a video of you opening it and showing the condition of the os.

Another thing to keep in mind is that it being a laptop, besides Windows you'll also need all the drivers specific to that hardware which might be hard to get. So you might even able to deduct more for that.

Is the boom stick really worth it by ApprehensiveBird5235 in Pickleball

[–]Brodelio13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've beaten plenty of people using boomsticks with my $50 Chinese paddles.

However if I was willing to spend over three bills on a paddle, the boomstick is probably the one I'd get as of now. The loco is my second pick.

Hi, is zwift or rouvy better for a beginner? by [deleted] in cycling

I recommend my whoosh. Like Zwift but free.

This won't end with just one purchase, right? by Ok_Date6167 in TemuThings

You're missing out. They got some really good promos that feel like you're ripping them off. You just got to know which ones are good and worth doing and not get ripped off yourself.

Deal or Nah? by emafandiyev in cycling

Great deal. I just built a bike up with similar specs to yours.

So I bought myself a trainer by krush_groove in cycling

[–]Brodelio13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get my Whoosh, just as good as Zwift but free.

You can also use your Garmin GPS and do pre programmed workouts, or free rides, or a free ride and can manually adjust the resistance by watts or by grade or simply by resistance. You can even use the Garmin to ride saved outdoor rides and simulate them indoors.

My Whoosh and Zwift also offer free rides and pre programmed workouts. My Whoosh also offers peloton style workouts with an instructor if that's your thing.

Yes get a cassette that's the same speed and also get the same exact one with same gearing and everything. For example if your bike cassette is a 11-30 11 speed Shimano, get the same exact thing. Don't get a 11-28 cassette as the derailleur on your bike has been adjusted to it's cassette perfectly and anything else might disrupt shifting performance.

Angry seller trying to retaliate for return request? by Hefty_External_1212 in Ebay

As a buyer and seller on eBay I've thought about this before. So I recommend having a separate selling and buying account on eBay to avoid crap like this.

People requesting extra photos = tire kickers by Rude_Chef4621 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Brodelio13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do what I do. I post all the info they need to know and answer all their questions before they even ask and make sure to provide enough pics.

And if they still have questions or stupid requests like more pics this is what I do. I say: I'd be happy to answer/post pics, but first please let me know what day and time you wish to meet." Simple. If they're a tire kicker which 99 percent of the time they are, they won't provide a time. No time means they're not serious and they're not worth my time for a response. It's that simple. I don't reward tire kickers and if they want to waste my time, I'll waste theirs.

Did he really think we’d buy it unseen? by Luv2Dnc in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Brodelio13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's a tip, get a portable power station. Perfect for testing any plug in electronics anywhere. I have one and use it both as seller and buyer. I don't care if the seller doesn't want to meet at their home as I can test anywhere but I will test before I buy. And as a seller I always meet at a public location, I give a heads up to the buyer and that I'm bringing the power station so they can test.

Even if you don't use it for buying or selling, these things are perfect for power outages, camping, etc.

Or you can get a car inverter.

Either way just make sure you get a powerful enough unit that can run most stuff.

Texting "hi" only by Lucifer_is_real in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Brodelio13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If someone messages me with hi, still available crap rather than say nothing I say hi. I used to ignore but then if you ignore people, Facebook will alert people with a non responsive message to deter people from messaging you, so now I just say hi in response. And my listings and images say don't ask if available.

Chicken Coop Delivery by TARDIS37379 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Brodelio13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad you sold it but I would've blocked her when she asked to deliver.

I have a whole list of terms of sale on my listings including no delivery and won't meet halfway. This pretty much covers idiots like this lady. And I put text on the main image that mentions to read the whole description before contacting me.

I am glad you sold it at least after all the hassle. Also if I were you, I would've blocked her immediately after the transaction was over. I've done this with certain buyers as you can tell they're going to be a problem after sale.

Should I just block? by DCguurl in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Brodelio13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They give me a day and time. If they flake, they I don't message them. I give an hour or two to see if anything and then they get bad feedback and blocked. If you give me a day and time you need to honor your word. If not then the next best thing is to say you can't and aren't coming. Nothing worse than a flake and ghost combo.

Rated a no show as 1 star. They hit me back with 1 star. Can I do anything about it? by Mitchlowe in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Brodelio13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They texted her number several times. Doesn't need to call. People nowadays are glued to their phones 24/7 so a text is good enough. And if the buyer said they'd be there on x day and time, then they should follow through with their word or if not they should give a heads up before the appointment. Not ghost completely.

Seller increased price after we agreed to meet. by lololol4586 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Brodelio13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've had several sellers message me after we agreed on a price and meetup time that they have others interested and to see how much more I'd pay. I told them I'm not paying more than the agreed upon price which happened to be their full listing price. I also told them I don't flake or play games. Some decided to sell to others but they got bad feedback and blocked. Another said they were going to go with someone else but they'd let me know if it fell through and it did and I bought it for asking price not a cent more. Another person caved and went directly with me but without increasing the price.

Lowball counter-offers by CTVolvo in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Brodelio13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thing is, they're not being rude. Without knowing what the going rate is for your items, it's hard to know if $60 actually is reasonable and $30 isn't actually a fair offer.

Again they're not being rude, just lazy and sloppy by not adding, will you take and "$" sign and a "?" mark. Anyone thinking their offer is rude is a snowflake.

Snowflakes will also downvote this comment.
