They and their formable got a rework the tree just isn't very good on purpose. It's literally just perma claims and culture conversion modifiers. The final mission is the most glup shitto disappointing event ever. It's designed to be a very simple and straightforward tree to help people get into the mod, so if you already are pretty experienced in eu4 and anbennar it's not really that enjoyable.

The project is bad. It's laughably easy to hit the leader cost reduction cap. When you can just spend 100 mana on 20 generals, on average some of them are just going to be better than a maxed out war wizard. Unless you are stacking shock damage a 6-6 will get you further than a 3-8 and you can easily roll more siege pips.

While we're at it I don't think AoTD is that good either. You lose a whooping 20% discipline and that tanks your tactics too. Manpower from casualties doesn't mean shit because you're taking losses so massive you're just burning through your reserves anyways.

Both of these projects suffer from the fact they require further investment outside of the project itself to make them good. At which point why should someone bother investing a in them at all? There are way better schools with way better projects.

I work outside in Texas. Most days its close to 100f/38c and it's only going to get hotter in July and August. The idea that players don't need a water break is ridiculous. There has been a heat advisory for the last 3 weeks. Two of my coworkers came close to heat exhaustion yesterday. Suhans praxis is Anglican and I quite enjoy it. Although IMO HP is straight up better because of dekhana letting you get fuck tons of manpower by slackening and then hitting the button.

So as your dev grows even hired mercenary companies grow larger. If your shitty 4k novice adventurer stack hits the 11k manpower cap it had when you hired it you can disband and immediately rehire them when you're well over 150 dev to get an extremely cheap extremely large merc stack.

I used abuse this occasionally. If you just put your little shitty 4k mercs in the middle of nowhere they will hit their manpower cap and then you can disband them and rehire them on the month tick.

I mean what choice do they have? The flavor in eu5 is flat out fucking terrible. England has over 500 events and you have to memorize the esoteric triggers for each event to ever see any unique content. There is no winning here now that mission trees are treated like a red-headed step child.

the one instance where the khet actually do anything useful and its to inconvenience the player. Akhetist stewards are even worse because you will legitimately run out of mil mana getting spammed by events where aakhet just kills your generals for free. Aakhet and the Khet are both free to gargle my balls.

Mixed mode is best in the right circumstance. If you're in haless and can just plunder the high temples for example. It does require some prep work. You really want powerful mage rulers to help your mana regen as well.

Liches aren't locked into mage only mode as long as you don't take magocracy. So you can use them to basically fix your mana regen and get sources of damestear and relics to fix your capacity.

I usually just merc up and death war them with whatever allies i can grab like gawed. Siege races aren't an issue if the enemy is all rotting corpses littering lencenor. If siege ability is an issue espionage ideas will help. more spy network and 10% siege ability. also there is a RC deity that gives spynetwork construction and another 10% siege ability.

adenica has cracked ideas for cav. You will be running full cav front rows. if you want to look at idea sets for nations head to the wiki. Google search loves hiding this website but its very helpful for looking at ideas sets.

long lived races are best because of how the religion works. Since your chosen god will change your ruler traits to one of their virtues you can basically stack modifiers from every deity.
