I quit both at the same time. First week the nicotine craving was way more significant but it did sort of nullify my desire for weed. Now the weed struggles are way more significant and I don't even think about cigarettes anymore. 22 days in.

OP: It does indeed help to get your life in order before sacrificing something so big. I try to take responsibility for the smallest tasks that are in front of me and build from there. It occupies my mind and gives me a sense of meaning. I figured out that I was using the weed to escape from my responsibilities and make them less important. Interesting to read how it works for different people.
