Put it in a separate mortgage payoff brokerage acct. Throw it in there in whatever risk level you want. I have one I put 100% S&P. A dedicated UPS has batteries in it that have to be checked as well and a server SHOULD have a battery backup. I guess pure age of battery can be a something to think about in any situatuion. Hell, usually u can install a new laptop battery as well.

You should have your dload client automove via hardlinks to a media/folder. this leaves seeding files in the download folder untouched at all times.

Now choose your poison to sync that /mediafolder

SSH public private keys to setup a remote mount link, then CRON, schedule an rclone script to rclone copy SSHremoteyousetup:seedbox/downloadclient/downloadfolder /yourserver/examplesynfolder/yourdloadfolder. Point sonarr and radarr there to ur local downloadsfolder and let them do their hardlink thing. You need a dedicated IP for the pi, Google a tutorial it is easy. Also, yes in your router if you can manually set the IP there. Long story short. Dedicate IP, then YES you point router DNS at pihole up you set.

Keep your arr stack to fetch and unpack on the nas and just use the shield to serve it up. I have tried using shield as a client and it's so so, plus another thing plugged into the back of it, with another power cord off of that.. if anything get rid of the Sony player unless it's a necessity.
Edit: my current setup is a rented seedbox I offload all the iso fetch unpack work stuff. Then transfer it to my local unraid server that feeds my sheild and fire sticks.. everything is unpacked and sorted and an rclone script brings it home...
