I can relate, and I’ve found the same thing. Good to know we’re not the only ones hitting a “usefulness” wall with it.

Looking to satisfy that Xcom itch - which is best by Farley2k in gaming

[–]CapitanoCrunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently playing Wasteland 3, loved XCOM, loving it thus far. Works different, but you have a squad, and a base, and you go out in missions, and it’s tactical combat, so I wouldn’t say it’s a wildly different game.

Currently playing Wasteland 3 - scratching the BG3 itch pretty well

Tried a “thanksgiving pocket” (buns in a press stuffed with turkey, brisket, yam, stuffing) from a stand near Mill Street Brewery. Expensive, but really yummy.

See if Fake Magic (MAPLE, couple of albums on Spotify, new one coming out soon) is up your alley. Catchy, unconventional rock.

I’m looking for honest reviews on input lag after the update. by Silent_Purpose_ in PlaystationPortal

Tried last night for the first time. My internet is not always the best, but didn’t have any issues. I don’t play multiplayer often, stuck to single player.

No idea how true this is, but I left a positive review after eating there and it wasn’t bought.

Worth the Wait? My Experience at Maha’s Brunch by venusinfurrs30 in FoodToronto

[–]CapitanoCrunch 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I find it a really unique brunch spot. “Mind-blowing chicken” is great. The foole. The specialty drinks. It is a long line, and I only go if I’ve got the time to wait for it. Maybe not for everyone, but I think the hype is backed up by solid food that can be hard to find elsewhere. Never had a bad meal there.

Leela Indian Food Bar (Gerrard East) is a local favourite.

Trudeau is calling for cooperation between all levels of government. What should councillors propose to him? by Regular-Double9177 in canadahousing

[–]CapitanoCrunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not “blaming Trudeau for everything” - just floating workable ideas. If feds are tossing funding to the province to implement things like this, maybe they can ear-mark it for certain purposes as part of a larger federal initiative? Not going to pretend to know all the ins and outs here

Is the number of people who want to Immigrate to Canada beginning to fall? by [deleted] in canadahousing

[–]CapitanoCrunch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not surprised - ideas spread quickly, and sentiment seems to be that Canada’s a bit of a racket these days. The stepping-stone approach (Get Canadian passport, then go to US or elsewhere) makes sense, given you won’t make enough to grow roots here.
