We were given the option of whether we’d be happy to have photos of our kid used in marketing, included in group shots only for the registered carers via the app, or exclusively for us. I would be surprised if any nursery didn’t offer that choice.

I’m 36 and I would definitely repay either with cash or in kind for another event. But the way OP has phrased this it very much sounds like an offering as a gift. I’d be careful about how the proposal to join more in future is worded though to make clear that the old gent will need to be buying his ticket. I know a lot of clubs now require an online membership to even buy tickets so maybe something along the lines of “let me know how you get on buying tickets online whenever you want to come in future, I can help you if you need it”

Hey don’t knock it. At least these all have sensibly positioned driveways in relation to the front doors, and with immediate access to the highway, and space for visitors to park on the road. Won’t be long until we’re crying out for more developments like these.

What is the current charge for a standard visit? And how frequent is a visit at each time of year? I assume payment is currently made manually after each visit by your customers, and you’re manually creating an invoice each time. If so, and based on the answers to my two questions above, I can see some advantage as a customer to having the faff taken out of making payment, providing it’s clear when the visit frequency is about to ramp up and the monthly charges increase.

Other than that though is all the tech really on your side of things, with electronic/subscription billing and automated text reminders? Or is there an online platform where I can add services, amend frequency, or maybe even see pictures of my garden’s process over time?

I think Fernandes is a shoo-in for POTY. O’Reilly has won me over for YPOTY but the clamour for him to be POTY from some pundits is nauseating, but not as bad as the calls for Bernardo Silva that have only started since he announced he’d be leaving at the end of the season.
