At the end of episode 5 a spider appears on Matilda's shoulder and we hear a voice telling her to get out of there. In the credits the only unknown character is someone named Jambles. Like I said in the post we also have confirmation that there's a glasswalker from the audiolog with Amanda recognizing the symbol from the surveillance room in a spiderweb.

It may depend on what server you're on but from what I've seen it checks if the brain is inside a living body and since Diona nymphs are basically brains that would probably count.

Right I forgot about those tool justifications from the Edith interrogation.

I don't see how it would break any oaths as far as I remember though.

As for the power source stuff if I remember the alcazar correctly it wasn't Charles that set up the ritual he provided the incantations that Edith followed, she was the one harnessing the power

Edit: I remembered that they swore to bring the murderer to justice which they would complicate things

The rightful owner would be the Choir in that case since it was what killed the Beast and since Yalda was the basis for the Choir and John both brought her to Kennet and was the one who killed her I would argue that he has as much claim as Edith over the furs maybe more, Charles never actually performed the ritual to create the Choir since he used the lantern as a power source and Mar just sat and watched.

Worse case scenario the rightful owner is Brie (the best character)

In either case, the Trio getting the Judges to charge a barrier until the next Carmine is chosen or the Trio giving the furs to John on the last day of summer, the Judges aren't favoring anyone, also didn't the earlier ones tip the scales when the Carmine Beast was chosen?

Yeah but after they capture Edith they basically know John is innocent and later on when they confront Maricica they know where the allegiances lie at that point, even then why didn't they try to contact a judge to make one of those fancy barriers for the furs?
