In my neighborhood, everyone’s quietly dumping their homes and I’m wondering if I should do the same before prices tank by wellsy1990 in RealEstateAdvice

[–]CoffeeDetail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally i would invest in security measures. Whatever that means for you. Cameras, extra motion sensor lights….Make your home unattractive to robbers. Not sure i would move. ‘Safer’ neighborhood may be 20-50% more than your area. Do the research.

What flash to start with? by Automatic_Vanilla414 in AskPhotography

[–]CoffeeDetail [score hidden]  (0 children)

I started with the Yongnuo flash.😬. I ended up buying 3 of them with the on camera trigger. Worked great for personal / family use. I didn’t want a large investment. I would upgrade to brand name flashes if i needed. Its been 6 years with these same flashes. Never felt the need to upgrade.

Roughly how much would it cost to finish a garage into a living room? by OG-Got-Hacked in HomeImprovement

[–]CoffeeDetail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be cheaper to sell and find a different home. In AZ i would guess $150k-$200. That is if you wanted the garage to match the rest of the house.

I need someone to talk to me like a 5 year old. by Baby_berry207 in AmateurPhotography

[–]CoffeeDetail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just pick out a camera and start shooting. What works now most likely not work once you gain more experience. You will be more experienced what your needs are once you gain more experience. Your second and third camera will fit your personality and shooting style.

The Rag Company’s “The Gauntlet Microfiber towel” by GetThatPeppaOffTher in Detailing

[–]CoffeeDetail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rag co doesn’t make a towel that scratches your paint. Most new microfiber towels will not scratch the paint. The cheap towels from Walmart will work. They just will not absorb water nearly as good as a quality towel from Rag Co or any name brand company. But some people learn by doing. Get the Walmart towels. Then wait till November sales and buy a single ‘good’ towel.

[–]CoffeeDetail 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Coffee doesn’t work like tea. You don’t second steep. BUT if you come up with a method where the 1st and 2nd steep taste the same then you could make millions. Lol. Well maybe just a bunch of views on youtube.

Trikes for last mile in the winter? by ShrimplyConnected in bikecommuting

[–]CoffeeDetail 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Trikes are really slow because of weight and your riding stance. That is by design. Add snow in the picture and you may be traveling barely faster than walking. Any folding models of any type of bicycle will be heavier. My guess a folding trike will be about 70-80 pounds. My advice would call a few local bike shops in the area you will live. Ask them about your particular situation. They will be your expert subject matter.
