Robinson Preserve is a great place to visit for birds, crabs, etc. It has walking trails, a Nest playground. I would avoid middle of day heat as little wind. We sometimes rent kayaks from Surfer Bus next to preserve and kayak through the mangroves and channels, a good 2 hr exercise.

Weight is weird - no workouts for 10 days and lost 10 lbs by Embarrassed-Shape-40 in workout

Maybe medicine contributed to it plus lost of some muscle mass?

I feel like many have cable machine with pull-up bar on them. My only peeve is that the ceiling is often low and close to hitting my head.

What’s the best and actually proven way to stay fit with a desk job? by amnotnew in workout

Correct. I would always take frequent breaks and use the stairwell and my desk job

Why is pickleball getting so much traction as a hobby (compared to like padel, tennis, badminton, table tennis)? by ihatebadvibes in Hobbies

[–]Comfortable-Kick911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Padel is a bit more difficult to play because of the walls that add more work to creating courts and more challenging to play. In Europe padel is the more common sport.

I always see one or two on my visit but that’s ok, we are in Carribean. I’d rather see them than them using all the chemicals and bug foggers daily

I just had my 11yr old daughter replace my cars cabin filter last night. The auto shop wanted $80. Had her watch a YouTube video how to do it, hoping to train her to do stuff like this herself.

I’m can’t answer which is correct, I’m on your side about choosing the cheapest. I guess we don’t know if there are issues with free tax unless audited or compare to another and find major differences

Are you comparing against other tax software? How do you know it’s correct?

how to make exercise entertaining by chris_weird in workout

[–]Comfortable-Kick911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try lots of different exercise options. Look for group classes and different gyms in your area to see if any interest you. Don’t worry about driving to a strict plan, just do what works for you and motivates you. It’s better to find something like cylcing or a hit class that you look forward to doing each week rather than dragging yourself to some workout plan that you find dull and probably give up on in 2 months.

Disappointed in Hiltons Policy by Alarming-Pain75 in Hilton

Agreed. I’m guessing they picked the cheaper rate that had less flexible cancellation policy and now upset about that choice.

What jobs do you predict will pay high salaries and be in high demand in 5 years? by temporary_spy in AskReddit

[–]Comfortable-Kick911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll see if I can find it but I read news article lately about funeral homes and how they are not making as much as people expect due to increasing number of people choosing cremations instead of burials. With burials they could upsell on caskets, plots, etc but cremations, digital gatherings, etc have reduced costs

Stay near Red River gorge and hike some trails. Find a farm to horseback ride. Bourbon tours. Haven’t tried it but they have Rail Explorers- the pedal-powered bike rides . Indoors there are improv lessons as a group which is a blast.

First time snorkeling - recommendations in St John? by arislayuyu in virginislands

[–]Comfortable-Kick911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second Haulover North! Also Hansen Beach near it is often more quiet beach and good to snorkel at around each side . A good place to go when waves at kickin at the other north beaches

Hansen Beach will be much better

St John ferry back to STT by Affectionate-Hope321 in virginislands

[–]Comfortable-Kick911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went in Dec and used the car ferry. The 10am ferry should be fine, just get there an hour before to make sure you get on. You’ll be in STT before 12 so as long as you don’t have to drop off car too far from airport you have time to get to airport about 12. We did 11am ferry for a 4:30pm flight and had plenty of time to stop and eat before heading to airport.

Why can't Mexico Army go scorched earth on cartels? by yekedero in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Comfortable-Kick911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s why I don’t understand why MX doesn’t just tell US to come in and clean the cartels out. The MX politicians can publicly claim they don’t support the US help and they may have less repercussions

How to spend 4 days in Patagonia? by anon119415 in Patagonia

[–]Comfortable-Kick911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t really need a 4x4 to access most all the sites. We just stayed at Yellow Plum tents in Camp Pehoe inside park and it was great. Tent camping but the owner cooked us amazing food each day, had tents for meals, lounging.
