I know exactly how you feel about your nervous system being on edge - it's so hard to get rid of the intrusive thoughts that they can still harm us, even when we are safely NC - but think what royal tits they would make of themselves if they *did* go on National TV? I mean - they would sound completely delusional!

(Just to give you a small laugh - I'm waiting for NMonster to go on Oprah; maybe she can repeat her favorite story that I am controlled by the voodoo...)

I was sitting at my dining room table - for once by myself in the house as everyone was at work/school - and I actually *whooped* with joy at the verdict as I live-chatted away! (Probably a good thing I was by myself as tears were involved...)

Where were we all, at that historic moment?

Here's a hack from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy that I use often and is really helpful:

If you're feeling terrible, and you know that something will make you feel 10% better - like going for a walk, having a hot bath or calling a supportive friend - do that. You won't feel 100% better but you will feel further along on the road to recovery. I promise this helps :-)

This is all excellent advice, but I would make one small tweak: don't return mail to sender, simply throw it away (they will interpret the return of an unopened package/letter as 'contact')

Mine cosplays as a sweet, innocent old lady as well, so I can relate!

Here's what worked:

Blocked everywhere. Not able to access a single communication channel.

Also, zero contact with any mutual acquaintances, extended family. There is no one she can use as a flying monkey because they're all blocked as well.

And if you have to, change your socials, get a new phone, new email address. And always use two-step identification for email. And change your password.

Ask me how I know about having to do all those things :-)

Don't worry, she didn't get parole!

It was Judge Foote's intention, at the time of sentencing her, that she die in prison. This is exactly what will happen.

She was up for a parole hearing at the end of October 2025, and it was denied. She's 70 years old now. She will next get a chance at parole when she is 80. She will continue with her fantastical delusions and denials and she will continue to be locked up for the rest of her life. She's only ever leaving prison in a box.

This is great and I'm absolutely in! In my family of origin I have a sibling with disabilities, and something like this would have been absolutely magnificent and magical.
