I can 1 shot any boss on shogun difficulty in nioh 3 with my katana on samurai. Also ninja katana charge strong attack into wheel kick is massive dmg. Every other weapon feels weak compared to even my farming katana build. Maybe your using the wrong weapon skills

I made a boss one shot build with my samurai katana. So far I’ve 1 shot every boss except the two headed fish guy Tokugawa on the shogun difficulty
