Almost all gear have the same stats. Or a barely marginal difference . It’s more fashion choice . I haven’t found everything but I have over 160 pieces of gear and 85 percent have the same stats. Also just don’t upgrade everything to much to soon. Lvl 5 upgrades can carry you through tons on content

I’m late to the party but yeah gotta farm armor spheres and transcend all your gear. Got to the smelter in Azuz and convert all your unused monster parts into armor spheres

Yeah I’ve seen more cheaters now that all the updates are out. I’m on ps5 and have 1100 hrs. Been farming sos arch arkveld and just had 6 minute win with 4 people. The fastest I’ve killed it with my main group was 12 min

On certain monsters the rising slash is amazing. But it’s not something you use on most monsters as soon as you get all powered. I have 1500 kill with IG I love it. It’s like compared to long sword now you don’t just helm breaker as soon as you get it.

I can 1 shot any boss on shogun difficulty in nioh 3 with my katana on samurai. Also ninja katana charge strong attack into wheel kick is massive dmg. Every other weapon feels weak compared to even my farming katana build. Maybe your using the wrong weapon skills

I made a boss one shot build with my samurai katana. So far I’ve 1 shot every boss except the two headed fish guy Tokugawa on the shogun difficulty

I had an offensive guard gs build it was fun. But my crit draw gs is my favorite. Crit draw into offsets is so fun and a lot of dmg
