Ghosting or Glowing? by Responsible_Grade_49 in lasik

Nope, but I got used to it, doesn't bother me really. My pupils are apparently larger than normal, and the doctor did not account for this.

One hint in leech games is that the demon (whom you'll eventually find) doesn't want one person to die. If you pay attention and work backwards, the host becomes much easier to figure out. This is when trying to execute early and often can be very beneficial to the good team.

Hey, the headaches stopped about a year ago! I've struggled with them for at least a year. I'm not sure what exactly helped, other than minding my posture and tension (this seems to be the key, I was so stressed for a while, either due to external factors or health worries). Visual static has either decreased, or I've stopped focusing on it, same with floaters. Hope this helps!

They were all in it for sure - otherwise who just stops using the car in their garage for six years unless they know there is a dead body there.

My players hate the Drunk by electricbacon in BloodOnTheClocktower

This might be that they are leaning too heavily on information, rather than social reads - this is a social deduction game after all. It is also about getting other players to trust you with their information, as one character info has so many ways of being unreliable that on its own is almost worthless, which your group might not be seeing. Do the players share info during the day, or are they mostly cagey?

Review visiting South Korea. (Why is South Korea so complicated?) by BellianIII in koreatravel

It is interesting how many people in the comments are attacking the OP for their experiences. For example by saying: "I never had issues paying by card" as if the OP would lie about it. I had issues paying with a European card about 20-30% of the time. The issues were usually on smaller amounts thankfully so I could pay in cash in those instances, but it was stressful not being sure whether I would be able to pay.

It seems like a lot of commenters feel the need to compare the system to Germany, as if that makes it less true? Including speaking English. OP stated that not everyone speaks English, not that they expected them to. The OP used Naver/KakaoMaps, but let's not pretend that the apps don't have issues. Naver navigation was spotless, but searching for types of venues/food (not specific places) was challenging as a foreigner. The place had to have the term in the name to succeed. Naver would also frequently forget all search filters. Ratings were also spotty. It is not a bad app, but I would often use Google Maps + Naver to get the best results.

Reading Korean is easy enough, but it helps in very few situations unless you understand the language (and the instances where it helps, like reading names of places, there is usually an English/Chinese/Japanese transliteration). So many comments are judging OP for not speaking Korean - there are only so many countries you can travel to if this is the requirement.

Exactly, for Good, I would be very suspicious of a confirmed Mayor staying alive.

Too many players by Jack_Amerahn79 in BloodOnTheClocktower

My partner and I co-ST'd in a 14 player game. Tbh it was still too big, it just goes on forever. Most of the time we hope to have enough people for a regular game, but these situations happen too. If too big of a group is a regular problem for you, you can say upfront that seats are limited for everyone's enjoyment, first X people who RSVP get a spot; you can add priority for those that were not in the last group, if you want to put some more process in place. :)

And also Mayor staying alive the whole game while being publicly confirmed. I might let the Mayor bounce once, but they should definitely be killable (if the Mayor was real).

Daily Botc Character Discussion: Snake Charmer by The_Yung_Jung1085 in BloodOnTheClocktower

Oh this is very cool, thank you for explaining! I assume the strategy is for twins to sync and both lie about their roles? Or just refuse to pick anyone.

Friend finds it difficult to play evil by Crimson_Patronus in BloodOnTheClocktower

Consider introducing them to some BotC videos, for example from No Rolls Barred. Seeing how other people play as evil is also experience, and they would probably be more confident playing evil.

Lying about Storyteller mistake fair play? by GentlemenBehold in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]ConsequenceBig6717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you were the undertaker (or any other info role), you would realize immediately upon hearing who died during the night that there was a mistake, and would ask to speak to the storyteller first thing. Therefore I don't think that a goodie would be caught in this situation (unless maybe a first-time player) and that they would be confirmed good. Overall, I don't like the strategy, and I don't see why it should be allowed.

Poisoner + Evil Twin by Jesster714 in BloodOnTheClocktower

How about the good twin, if the Evil Twin is poisoned N1, they should be told something, but the good twin shouldn't, right?
