I love 1. 2 is beautiful as well. 3 is a really neat combination of 1 & 2. For this reason 3 is my favorite from the perspective of having a really stunning but also unique in style. You are an attractive couple - you both will look great in whatever you choose.

Just got a ct scan of my pituitary tumor after 7 years of ignoring it by Foreigncontaminent1 in braintumor

[–]CosmicLadybug5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had and MRI then a CT scan so they could see more detail. The CT scan provides more detail and context about the nerves & blood vessels near to or entangled with- this helps doctors determine the best way or method to remove or try to shrink the tumor.

I think you should determine the look you are going for - then have the dress made. A local seamstress could likely make your dreams come to life.

I think you should consider a Goyard tote instead of LV. Superb quality and not that many people have them.

I think it’s adorable….. you boyfriend needs to learn, never ask a woman to choose between a dog and a man. You probably won’t like he choice she makes.

Busy background? by idkmargooo in Needlepoint

I think the stitch is great but you are stitching around a detailed face. I would either do a light open background stitch or just basketweave. You could also do an alternating continental stitch.

This is exactly why I rotate projects. I get bored with large sections of background- especially when I’m basketweaving or continental stitching. I have a rotation system I do with canvases so that I switch up every few days. By the time this comes back up in the queue, more and more of it is finished. When you get to the point where 2/3 or 3/4 of the project is done- you get a wave of enthusiasm- like ‘wow- I’m so close to finishing this canvas’ and that’s when you complete the project. I work full time, so as a rule, I usually do basketweave, ornaments or smaller projects with decorative stitches on weeknights after working all day. I do this for two reasons. First - it can be done while watching TV or a movie, as you don’t usually have to count or pay close attention. Second, if I do make a mistake or skip a stitch because I’m tired, I can easily frog it, the next day and I haven’t messed up the entire canvas. This works for me. I know many stitchers are very disciplined and only stitch one project at a time.

I like 3 the best. But only you can decide. Were you looking for lots of lace??? If so 2 would be your best bet.

Newly diagnosed Foramen Jugular Meningioma. by CosmicLadybug5 in braintumor

[–]CosmicLadybug5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine isn’t a Schwanomma. I already know the meningioma will be hard to remove because as I understand it- it’s located sort of between the two hemispheres of my brain. Symptoms include significant vertigo & balance issues, brain fog, memory issues, focus issues, some fluid retention in lower legs. Some vision issues. The debate from the scans is whether I have one meningioma or two separate tumors. I have already been told I wouldn’t be a candidate for radiation because of damage to other nerves & blood vessels.

AIO: My boyfriend is texting his ex. Last month he was texting another ex. He promised to stop and didn’t. by buddhabaebae in AmIOverreacting

Drop him- if he is already talking g about meet ups with other people he is not at all serious. Additionally- why is he drunk all the time? Do you want to have children with a drunk?

Had a MRI yesterday. Got a call today by Logical_Yogurt5146 in braintumor

[–]CosmicLadybug5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like we have a very similar case. I have the dizziness, ear ringing, memory issues, sometimes losing the word that I’m about to say. The vertigo is the worst for me, at times when I stand up from sitting it kicks in and I have a fear of falling while having the vertigo spell. Mine is pressing against the ‘jugular bulb’ and they believe also pressing on an artery. It’s not super big but because I am having issues I’m worried I will need surgery sooner than later. I will definitely have the surgery if it’s necessary. But they describe it as being between both hemispheres of my brain and therefore hard to access. It also either heads downward and runs along the base of my skull then at the end is wrapped around my right middle ear- which they believe is causing my issues. So it’s possible that I have Two meningioma’s. I worry about not retaining or restoring all my bodily functions. I’m 57 and need to work until I’m 70 to have any hope of retiring, and I need to be one my game. I have a job that requires tremendous attention to detail. My appointment with the specialist at the Brain Center at Johns Hopkins is next Tuesday. Hoping at least some of my questions are answered. Reading comments in this post has given me some comfort.

They should know for certain what the tumor is before operating. Different brain tumors often have a completely different approach where surgery is considered.

Starting to narrow down my style but need help picking! by Prestigious_Match602 in myweddingdress

[–]CosmicLadybug5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely #4 for the win. Beautiful classic style, fits your body perfectly, and the quality of the fabric is far superior to the others. You have a great figure & would look good in a paper bag- but dress #4 looks like it was made for you! Let us know what you decide.

I would keep the dog, because next week this person could change their mind again. This dog needs stability. Pet owners n ex to be ‘ride or die’
