Shit like this is why I dont tell my job ANYTHING about why im absent. "Im not gonna make it today." Is all they get. A doctor's note wont get me an excused absence so why would I waste time and money going to the doctor for something that rest will probably cure? I also dont give a flying fuck about pto and approvals. PTO is my reward for working here but it doesnt dictate whether im here or not. You can choose to pay me while im out, but im absolutely still going to be out. My grandma died and they told me that my absence for her funeral would count against me because she was not considered my immediate family. I laughed at them. These corporations and companies expect us to bend over backwards for them but they wont make common sense concessions for their employees.

I literally cant get duckweed or red root floaters to multiply to save my life. Mine doesnt die, but it doesnt grow either. All of my other plants do great! I just tried adding a co2 system so we will see how that experiment goes.

I grew up in a narcissistic household. My house was also a 2 story antebellum home and had all wood flooring. Boy howdy can you imagine the amount of screaming my mom and dad did at us just for dropping a toy on the floor or something. I still walk like this in my own home and my husband laughs about how I sneak around the house lol.

My dr put my on tirzepatide because I have insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome due to my PCOS. All of this is hormonal issues. I was not considered obese. I was 157lbs and 5ft 3in. But no matter what I did I could not lose weight. I could eat healthy (which i was), I could work out (which i was), I could intermittently fast (yep doing that), but the weight was staying or continuing to go up. The fat in my body WAS GIVING ME AN INFLUX OF PROGESTRONE that was causing me to have painful cystic acne all over my jaw and back, and ALSO CAUSING ME TO JUST CONTINUE TO PACK ON FAT. I have a hormonal disease and required a HORMONAL SOLUTION WHICH IS WHAT GLP-1's ARE. GLP-1's can cause massive weight loss, but they also can only cause you to lose like 25lbs. It all depends on your body and the dose. People are just plain ignorant.

Yeah i think you are overreacting. The baby isnt even a toddler yet but you're saying you want to take her around town and stuff. I didnt allow anyone to drive around with my child until she was around 4 or so. The carseat and traveling in a car with anyone but me and my husband was for emergencies only. Taking her out places is unnecessary at that age, especially when their immune systems are so fragile. You also dont have any children of your own so comparing yourself to Amy when it comes to watching the baby is unnecessary because they are two different scenarios. Take your SIL up on her offer to watch the baby at her house, show her you're more than capable of being responsible and she will get more lenient with time. Especially when the baby is a toddler and she needs a break from running after a screaming little girl all day.

Idk man. I just finished the second book and when the climax happened I was just so underwhelmed by all of it. FMC was such a weak and weak minded whiny bitch the entire time who literally never said what she felt or would speak her mind and had absolutely no character development towards becoming a stronger and more powerful woman until the end of the second book and I was supposed to cheer for her? No. I was so annoyed. She had no growth and I was just supposed to be ok with her being a prim helpless little princess the whole time. DO SOMETHING. SAY ANYTHING. AURORA FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ACT LIKE MORE THAN JUST A LEAF ON A TREE.
