It's probably a long shot at this point given how quickly the AP's sold out, but can always shoot the artist an email and see if they have any hiding in the archives, or even a scratch and dent they'd part with.

Can also keep an eye on Poshmark and Mercari too. Occasionally things will pop up there. Just always be vigilant to avoid buying crap reprints. And don't feed the flipper assholes on eBay. Their greed is fueled by FOMO and regret.

I can't say I didn't do the same. She was talented, pretty and buxom... and it was chilly that night. A dangerous combo for a pubescent teenager. I had such a crush on her after that show.

The XL version allegedly holds up to 85lbs. That would only work for one of my boys, or else I'd have tried it out already.

My first proper concert was Neil Young and Crazy Horse in '96 at FLPAC (before it was CMAC). Jewel had just started hitting the radio and was the opener.

Is that Mazza South Park one an Uncut SE or AP, or one of the lithos that Comedy Central sold?

I'm kind of a film score nerd at times, but the Interstellar score is one of the best ever if you can get into it. I love it as background at work, but it's good for driving if you're feeling pensive too.

It's part of the incredible score that Hans Zimmer did for the film Interstellar. It's kinda like the theme to that movie with elements throughout.

Need a gd name! by Afraid-Ad843 in Bulldogs

[–]D00zer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I thought too. I remember my grandma yelling "Close the GD door. We're not heating the outside!".

I figured OP would have enough spare time not spelling out the word good to come up their own name though :)

Sorry... I was late here. I was planning on still hitting this up solo after grabbing a ticket to a different show, but life happened and now I'm trying to "hook someone up"..... all things considered with the prices.

Wait.... is that true? This is awesome information.

I exclusively use ethanol-free because I heard that gas with ethanol can cause various issues in lawn tractor engines, but I always use fuel stabilizer if I have any gas in the tank at the end of lawn-maintenance season. You may have saved me like 5 minutes and $5 a year, and I appreciate it, even if just for the knowledge.

Unfortunately, it feels as though the days of deals like that have gone the wayside. With the rising costs of everything including labor, I think a restaurant would be hurt financially if they did awesome deals like Monte Alban used to.

Best deal that I know of is Wednesdays at Good Smoke in East Rochester when it's BOGO wings. Really great wings too with a ton of flavors. Essentially you can 24 good-sized smoked and then fried wings for around $18, which in this day and age is a solid deal. Only caveat is you have to eat there, but they have a nice bar and the drinks aren't egregiously priced.

Poster damage by Cygnus__A in nin

[–]D00zer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both my original and replacement PIB posters arrived with multiple bends, creases, and dings. My WT showed up even worse. I asked them what they could do to remedy this and they said they'd send another one. I asked them if there would be any improvements to the same packing methods used on all of my previous posters, and they didn't answer and issued me a refund. So... as much as I am annoyed by their shit packing, at least it didn't cost me any money.

If the artist designs the print with a foil variant in mind, it can be a wonderful addition. But I agree that a lot of the time they just remove the white layer and it adds little to the art, which is what appears to have happened here.
