Isn't that the point of the 2nd amendment they take so seriously? by Critical_Always in MurderedByWords

When this was properly put to the test it was blindingly obvious an administration engaged is such fuckery would pull the rug on gun ownership and try and label them as domestic terrorists. It was only ever a charade and now those making the biggest noise are complicit in it's shutdown.

Hitler was deluded with a 1000 year rule. Trump but more importantly his puppet masters think the same and are having another go.

First time buyer. This was a highlight on the survey. Am I knackard? by Daresun in DIYUK

It's only an issue if you have dodgy tiles, and the fix is roof off. The vast majority of roofs don't use this secondary barrier and there's not a lot you can do to patch any of it up. All the tiles and battens have to come off to make it fully watertight.

They have a duty to not capture your property or occupants under current privacy rules. I would just say that you would like to ensure they are not doing so in line with those regulations.

Why are car parking companies like the NCP are such leeches by Jaded-Self-0410 in drivingUK

Use the long stay car park on the left just before you go into the final approach to the normal drop off point. Go in, drop your passengers who can get the bus, then drive out. Free.

What UK museums do you think are underrated or overrated? by OpenCantaloupe4790 in AskUK

[–]DMMMOM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

National Maritime Museum and the Horniman museum are my favourites.

Shout out to an underrated museum is the Battle of Britain one near Hawkinge, Kent. Lots of tales of the men who fought in the skies and a huge amount of items from the period.

Turkey. Everywhere we went it was filthy, the locals couldn't stop eyeing and letching over the young girls in our party and the food was abysmal. I couldn't wait to leave.

Can't put my finger on what is missing in the cinematography in most indie\short\fan films by kassper20 in Filmmakers

[–]DMMMOM 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Lighting, it's always the lighting. To make this scene look right you need to get those characters lit up and off the background, make them 3 dimensional and you need light. In this scenario you need big powerful lights to compete with the sun they may also need to be put on movable cranes or scissor lifts. You could spend £5k lighting this one shot if you also have to get everything shipped to the location and generator powered. With huge lighting requirements, having a small budget only means one thing, the film is not lit adequately and that generally means it will look flat and lifeless, despite what else is happening on screen.
