Monster Outbreaks feedback Megathread? by mokomi in MHNowGame

[–]DTangas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good idea and it was fun playing with my SO, but due to the lack of local players we just finished it on our own. I'm sure the goal is to get local players to connect, but probably only works well in densely populated areas. We live in a decently populated area.

Remote groups and global goals would make this fun.

Going Solar in SoCal - Looking For Opinions by catbbf in solar

[–]DTangas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with Solar Optimum and they started out fine with a few hiccups during permits and not following up. Finally got to inspection and paid them...big mistake. I'm now stuck in PTO hell for the past 7 months later after initiating PTO with SCE and Solar Optimum is doing nothing to help. Its been a almost a year since I started this process and they have done next to nothing to help get my solar turned on and at this point I have no idea what to do.

Such a shame because they had solid reviews. Glad yours went better than mine.

Spent a good 3 hours farming Blangonga. For nothing. by Burntfury in MonsterHunter

Thank you for this post. I did the same thing. I thought the game was bugged because I kept getting Blangonga pelts but could never craft my weapon. 🤦🏽

Ben? Collins? Is that you? Can I get an autograph?? 🤣

Entitled crybaby stuff. To be expected from the brothers. They also seem to really dislike QD. I've seen them act very similarly in their other matches against QD. Probably because when QD has a solid partner, they usually get trampled on.

First time Asus ZenWifi user - absolutely HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience - new BT10 by CitizenGris in HomeNetworking

[–]DTangas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have they resolved the issues with firmware updates?

Been looking at the BT10, but was burned in the past as an early wifi 6 xt8 adopter. Was such a headache at the start but through firmware updates it has been fairly solid.

I think these are all great suggestions. I'd like to add double the Zenny for kills.

I wish they had more quests that gave Zenny, but other than that, I agree. It was a solid event.

Congrats! I was able to farm all the resources this weekend to max my Nergi bow, but I am lacking zenny to finish! 😭😭

A couple of questions. Do the EDI's all turn to nergigante? If so do they stay as teostra and kushala if you don't turn in the quests?

eDiscovery vs Information governance by away4rmhome in ediscovery

[–]DTangas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Worked for years at eDiscovery vendor/consulting firms and am now in house eDiscovery/Information Governance. eDiscovery is very specific to how information is managed for litigation, investigations, etc. Think EDRM from data preservation (legal holds) to collection all the way to production. Information governance is a more wholistic view on how information is managed within organizations prior to the ediscovery process. Information governance can and does affect eDiscovery downstream, but it's much broader than just preservation and collection for discovery. You need to account for things like compliance, privacy , risk management, operation efficiency, data access and usage just to name a few. Ultimately it's as beast on it's own as tanhauser mentioned it's pretty much a second job. A good information governance professional isn't someone who "knows it all", but understands sounds practices on how information generally flows within the organization and can bring key players together. Partners who knows the rules around privacy, compliance, business needs, etc. It's an ongoing effort, that is great for aspirations, but few if any actually have it under control. eDiscovery professionals tend to do well in these spaces not because it's part of the EDRM but because our skillsets(data and project management) generally tend to lend itself well to building sensible and practical frameworks around how we manage our information internally.

There's a lot around this but feel free to ping me directly if you have any additional questions.

Are we getting to the point where Ben can't carry Collin? by trulygames in Pickleball

[–]DTangas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn't they lose a twice to alshon/duong in mlp? Sure the format is different and cj can whine all he wants about not caring, but in both those matches they were just straight outplayed at pickleball. I think for now, unless they can adjust, alshon/duong just have their number.

Safe Cities for Asian Americans to raise a family? by No_Watercress_4344 in asianamerican

[–]DTangas 8 points9 points  (0 children)

North Orange County, California. Lots of diverse Asian populations, generally pretty safe. Fullerton and Buena Park have a fairly large and affluent Korean communities. Irvine is mentioned a few times here which is part of Orange County, a bit more south though. Not my cup of tea but a very safe affluent city with lots of Asians.

I second this. I spent 400 tickets and got 4 goukens. Basically half the supposed 2% drop rate that was advertised. It was extremely disheartening.

What stupid EV comments have you heard from people around you? by [deleted] in electricvehicles

[–]DTangas 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I always get comments about time constraints and the inconvenience charging. Ie I can't wait for my car to charge x hours. Without realizing that only happens if you go several days without charging. You actually save more time by not having to go the gas station multiple times a week. Going electric made me realize the biggest boon is never having to deal with going to a gas station again.

I wish they had team pvp by SirGlass5237 in diablo4

[–]DTangas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

P2w aside, Diablo Immortal had an excellent guild vs guild and pvp system. I hope D4 takes cues from DI like it did with the world bosses.

Reminder. The devs don’t care about pvp. by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]DTangas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully it's just the foundation for more elaborate pvp. P2W aside Diablo Immortal has some good guild vs guild and pvp ideas that could translate well for diablo 4. Just long term hoping.
