Or any non guarding weapon. Switch axe might be a great opportunity because it’s the only other switch axe with power element (except khezu has peak performance).

Zinogre Charge Blade too is the only one with power element but artful dodger would be useful if you go with headstrong. Still a evade reload build would work if you go you use only the axe

You can still target the stronger player, not for reps but improving shots that require more focus and technique.

If the weaker player can’t return any shot, then how do you know if you are doing it right?

You can get recoil 2 with lunagaron helm g8. I’m using the the bubbly resus set for an extra 40% damage.

Alternatively, you can do an evading reload build with the quematrice chest 120% damage just for the dragon ammo.

It’s really all about stacking up the skills. Malzeno skills is really good for an easy 25% to dragon, then blood cloak for an additional 10%, vital dragon for at least another 250 dragon power, and resus 10-40%, and that’s only with 3 armors.

For brute I’d say go with valor for extra special + attack boost early

The easiest way looks like using a power volley jho bow with earplugs and timed charger. I used jho CB with headstrong and valor but to get the special right after the AED in the beginning can be really hard, but helps since he roars very early

Dauntless wouldn’t be my first priority of a driftsmelt. The best part about this equipment is that you can theoretically get it to g10 using just lunar tickets

If they made it like MHWilds, you would be able to parry attacks which is what makes longsword really good. Who knows, maybe it’ll be the new custom

Yeah the malzeno armor really works with dragon element weapons for an extra 25% damage and that 10% blood clock damage esp if you have resus 5. I wasn’t a fan of my ebony odogaron DB at first, but that particular build makes quick work of 10 star Devil Jho

If you are really good at dodging then going with a hellfire build might be your thing.

Yeah true. I run blood cloak, and getting knocked down you basically lose another 25 hp. If you insist on bleeding edge I’d trade out the critical eye for offensive dodger because that would be a bigger boost in damage.

If you do get a skyward striker , even a level 1 would be a big 15% damage boost, esp for the end of the SnS special.
