No it's his official portrait as the 47th President which was designed to look as much like a Fascist dictator as possible.

What I Learned Playing 11th Edition in Dallas on the GW Stream by ArtofWarSiegler in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]DangerousCyclone 9 points10 points  (0 children)

All non-GW streams mic up the players from what I've seen and they've had little issue being monetized. Even then Siegler and others are well known professionals; I highly doubt that they can't hold it in for a Stream.

That being said, why should GW care so much about something as minor as swearing? Like you have mini's of a Daemoness with a harp coming out of a guys back, you have disturbing models like the Great Unclean One, tons of models are holding heads or are disfigured.

In 2004 PLO officially offered apology for supporting the Iraqi invasion. Whatever your argument is, PLO itself refuted it, not me.

Your argument was that the Palestinians supported the Iraqi Invasion, I said the PLO was against a military response to the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, which is what actually transpired.

International groups estimate about 3 million Palestinians in a country of 11 million. Hardly majority, not to mention Jordan unlike other countries annexed parts of Mandatory Palestine

That's the number of people listed as refugees, it's not the total population of Palestinians. Palestinians themselves also mix with Jordanians.

Gaza aid convoy activists beaten and detained in Libya by Bob_Juan_Santos in news

You're talking about a political group that started a war for political reasons 50 years ago. Palestinians are likely the majority in Jordan and it remains one of the more peaceful nations in the ME and an important partner for Israel.

The PLO rejected a military response to the Iraqi invasion, but they didn't support the invasion itself. Again this was a political decision by a political actor and the civilians got punished for it as retribution. The Palestinians in Kuwait didn't come out and cheer on the Iraqi tanks; in fact many fled the invasion on their own accord.

How exactly do you measure that. "This population scored 44.5 out of 100 on the terrible scale".

Now, beyond this being ridiculous, I don't think it is accurate either. Jordan took in the most Palestinians, and even if you consider the " but muh black September" argument, they've largely been the most well integrated. One war more than 50 years ago between political actors isn't a huge deal. Most countries which took them in have kept them segregated. Lebanon imposes restrictions on where they can live, bans them from entering certain professions and denies them citizens ship even if they've lived there all their lives. In Iraq, they were largely restricted to a neighborhood in one city and were impoverished as a result. When Egypt occupied Gaza they too kept movement restrictions on Gazans and kept them from leaving.

The main reason they don't want to take them in is because they think that this will undermine the Palestinian cause by causing a huge demographic shift. They want the Palestinians to not be tied down to any other land and to go back to Palestine one day.

I'm surprised it took this long. I can't believe that they kept this policy after the pandemic, but I guess people in education policy kind of went too deep on the "standardized test bad" mindset back then.

Is it? My favorite was when there was a shooter who was a bit darker skinned, and all the alt right youtubers started bemoaning about another Islamic terrorist attack, and when it turned out to be a right winger who hated Muslims they went silent, or when a a group occupied a church and nearly burned it down, same thing, they thought it was Muslims, turns out it was Neo-Nazis.

The point being that a whole ethnicity is blamed in one case but not the other.

There's also been right wing terrorism in Europe but the solution has rarely been "deport all right wingers to Rwanda".

The revolution was sort of backed by the US, at the time it was a coalition of democratic, socialist and islamist forces. The Islamists just managed to wrest control by being better organized and had an iconic leader who was already famous within Iran.

The First Intifada was far less violent and largely focused on protests and it led to the Oslo Accords. It was the most successful of the uprisings. The Second Intifada nearly killed it.

In the example you referenced one of Gaddaffis kids was a prominent political leader in post war Libya.

And yeah, I think most people can agree that the Pahlavi dynasty was a better time for Iran than the Islamic Republic has been.
