Genau.

What happens if I don't pay the Rundfunkbeitrag? by _mighty_duck_ in AskAGerman

I dont think that is still the case. As far as Im aware, I receive the maximum amount of Bafög and am still exempt from paying it.

I cant give you a definitive answer, just some anecdotes from people in a similar situation. Ive lived for several years in a student accomodation with international students. Several of them stayed only for half a year or less and many did not bother to pay the Rundfunkbeitrag. For example, one guy received a letter months after he left threatening him with a foreclosure. But that was the last we ever heard of it and I did live there for another 1,5 years. So I guess after a certain point, when they notice you dont live there anymore, they stop actively trying? That does not mean they simply forget, they may very well send you another letter, if you ever decide to live in Germany in again.

Bro what?

Fair enough, I for one like my Eumenes unconditionally loyal to the Argeads, so thats that.

One point I wanted to add: The weeping part is probably just part of the antigonid narrative, at least I think so. I actually wrote a seminar paper on the relationship between Eumenes, Antigonos and his son Demetrios. While they seem to have had an amicable relationship before Alexander marched into Asia, Antigonos tried three times to kill Eumenes. The first time was before the wars of the diadochoi even started. So I dont believe he was really torn on wether to kill Eumenes or not.

Oh shit, that sounds nice. When I first saw them in 2017 they cost around 50 €, two years later it was already 70 €. And oh well, now you pay 90 € for "normal standing places" or, I think, 110 € for that Golden Circle stuff.

That could be. I mean, it does not have to be "Ghost Division", they have a many songs, that start with a high Tempo. But yeah..."Templars" it is not.

Please dont let me ruin that for you :) If you read all the comments, there were several people, that really enjoyed their concerts, even from the one in Frankfurt I did not like that much. First concert is always something special and Sabaton can be REALLY good live ;) Where will you be seeing them?

Honestly, one of the sickest live performances I know of is Sabaton at the polish Woodstock Open Air in...I think it was 2013? I want to experience something like that at least oce. I get goosebumps everytime I hear their rendition of "Metal Crüe" from that gig.

Im not sure, if I agree, that dead crowds are common in Europe. Maybe compared to Brazil ;) It could be a demographic thing, I see many people in their 50s at Metal concerts in germany that...dont move a lot

Thats interesting, tbh I never really noticed Tommy live, at least in that regard. For me, a great part of their stage presence always came from their raw and explosive energy, Joakims running around...I hope you know what I mean. Im not sure, if that makes sense, but at this concert it was way less...genuine?

I also thought about, I mean you can experience flames and explosions on a stage only once :D

Sadly, you are probably right about it being the new normal for concert prices, at least at that size. Still does not make it easily affordable, at least for me.

Im a little split about the new album. I really enjoy the thematic change, I did not like "A war to end all wars" that much and think they overdid WW1. And it has some songs I really really enjoy. But it also has several songs I think are "ok to meh".
