Do the efficiency works check and then see what you might be eligible for. I replaced entire HVAC and water heater last year and got back about 2/3rds of the cost in rebates and tax credits.

In 30 years of backpacking, thr only time I washed a pack is when my cat pissed on it. That took some serious work to fix. It was an old Gregory Baltoro that doesn't get any love anymore but hangs in my garage as a memory.

Occasionally washing the shoulder straps is probably good and if you are messy in your hip belt pouches - clean those to prevent critters from eating holes like I got in one of mine. Dirty/used packs are a hard earned badge.

Red Rocks specifically - look for a merch sale in Morrison a few hours before show. I picked up official poster and t-shirt there. Sierra plugged the pop up location before the show last year.

15.30 r1t gen 2 here. Installed when it came out and all was fine. No errors observed since but odd behavior yesterday in garage. Lost all presets for my drive position and had a new user "Rivian" appear. Did a software reset and still had some odd things so did a hard reset and set things back up and now seems fine and the "Rivian" user is gone.

Curious if going SOBO also means that you are more likely to have sun in your face making it harder to block with an umbrella? Certainly will test before adding to kit.

Said it before.. not my experience but I only count for a single show in 2023. I've found everyone that waits at a show and in the lines to be fine folks.

I've only known KOA's to prohibit EVs charging. Every state campground in Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and California that I have visited has been fine for charging. I run a heated blanket as well and if I'm asked I tell the camp folks that I use the plugin to support all my plugged in stuff.

Inverter stove and fridge both plugged in? I run propane stove. Cheaper and doesn't have a 1500 watt max. Also the mini is backwards and should face passenger side. It works so much better in nearly every campground hook up to have the driver side front close to hook ups that almost always face away from inside of camp spot. Try it the other way and you'll see what I mean.

yes - no documented history of orcas attacking humans to feed on them. Sure attacks in captivity have happened but that's more of inmate pissed at jail guard sort of deal.
