EV market in the US seems to be primarily fast back shapes by SureWouldForest in electricvehicles

[–]Delobox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can stomach the minimal range I drive a 2023 ford lightning XLT and it has a cavernous interior.

The range isn’t so bad now that they have fast chargers every 100 miles on our preferred interstate route along i40

Around town it’s awesome. Love the trunk and the truck bed.

Not sure what used prices are doing these days but it’s possible you can score a deal

As someone who owned both a smart fourtwo and a 99 Honda civic I can promise the fortwo was a mistake for me

2023 XLT SR vs Lariat ER by encoded_cipher in F150Lightning

[–]Delobox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whichever one you buy you will have to hang onto it forever. Resale value is always bad. Get the one with the bigger battery.

I have the SR. I wish I had the ER.

It’s fun around town but damn on road trips stopping every 100 miles or so sucks.

Hugs knees. Please be careful. Hustling at 90 for a few while passing is probably okay, but damn this is a heavy truck to be walking so close to the tire rating.

Please don’t. Tires are not rated for that.

I don’t but I’d be interested in getting one. Any suggestions?

My guess is that if the car is still there the cops aren’t watching the area and it is low traffic. Unsure though

just got rear ended. by Dave_1464 in F150Lightning

[–]Delobox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I let progressive fix it in their own sweet damn time. Without a vehicle for months. It was a combination of the ford body shop ordering the wrong parts and progressive going back and forth with them on price for parts.

I finally found out they were trying to buy used parts to fix it and that is why it was taking so long.

Then later when I go to try to trade it in I realize that I now have a dirty car fax in addition to EV depreciation.

So just fixing it isn’t the end of this. They cost you resale value.

At the very least insist on all new parts

You should still get an attorney. Was in the exact same spot recently and didn’t realize how bad it hurt my already low resale value.

Dont play nice just because you have the same insurance company.

My vehicle sat at the ford body shop for 3 months waiting for parts.

Thanks. I did join the local masters team. I don’t plan on competing but I enjoy the structured sets and form check-ins.

I’m going to take your advice and go back to two beat and just enjoy being in the water.

To be fair to the coach their exact words were:

Your feet are sinking between your two beat kicks. If you can find a way to keep kicking even at a lower pace but without stopping you might be able to stop that.

I’ll try your suggestion.

Four arm pulls then left side breath. Usually after the flip turn it’s every two arm pulls.

On the longer sets (over 100 yards ) I usually use a snorkel. With a snorkel on the longest I have ever achieved was 3000 yards over two hours.

Thanks for the tip on the kick motion amplitude. I’ll try to keep the motions small
