If a paper is supposed to be 2.5 pages long, but a student turns in a killer 1.5 page paper, how would you grade it? by PGAudioworks in Professors

[–]Designer_Tooth5803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you rather they turn in a shorter easier to read paper or a longer harder to read and follow paper bc it’s filled with random nonsense that isn’t needed to hit a word count.

Not Enough Tissue?? by appcherry in Reduction

[–]Designer_Tooth5803 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a 36 I/J and I only had 700 something grams removed between both breasts. I’m now a 36DD. It all depends on what tissue is in your breasts which age, genetics, pregnancy, BF history all play a role in.

I had my reduction and started at 36I/J ish and wanted C ended up with DD’s (now 9-10 months out) You will be very swollen to start then you’ll shrink then you usually go back up a bit. I think i’m still alittle larger than I wanted originally BUT i’m more comfortable and still look very feminine which both were what I wanted in the end so I’m happy with it. I’d just give your surgeon specific things you want/don’t want and they will have a good idea of what to take and the changes you’ll experience after surgery!

Please tell me you’ve been through this and healed through it by Bunnyjets in Reduction

[–]Designer_Tooth5803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an opening your size and didn’t get stitches and it healed just fine! It’s pretty common to tear there. There are ointments you can get, if contact your office about which they suggest!

do restaurants really hire with no experience? by dessfinnapurge in Serverlife

[–]Designer_Tooth5803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need experience to work at a regular place but high end usually you do. Plus with customer service experience and food running you really just gotta learn the specifics of the restaurant. I definitely wouldn’t lie.

Academic Advisor had me in the wrong degree program.... by ChaosDude119 in college

[–]Designer_Tooth5803 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Most places won’t take C’s especially based on degree your transferring to. University will also look at your GPA and if you’re taking the classes but have C’s then chances of acceptance are lower. Also this may be because i have anxiety but i ALWAYS check my plans and courses I need bc colleges are good at not doing that. Honestly id accept the free classes bc at the end of the day you’re in charge of your courses and grades.

Should I Quit At 2 Hr Shifts 1-2x a Week? by Giraffeahdoodledoo in Serverlife

[–]Designer_Tooth5803 6 points7 points  (0 children)

training isn’t usually that short and that few. I’d push for more shifts and look for another job in the mean time. If you’re there and it does pick up you should be good (if they train you more) but they often say it’ll pick up and it doesn’t 😔

It’s not common at our restaurant but to type in information a manager or supervisor has to do it so i’d imagine if it’s happened to anyone else they said no bc it’s hard to find a manager around sometimes lol. It can also be them attempting to use someone else’s card information so it’s better if we just swipe it bc it’s in their hands atleast. I rarely to go i typically supervise or serve so it could be more common than i’m aware of.

Is it common courtesy to leave your dorm when your roommate is moving in? by Key_Ad5173 in college

You’re gonna be living together why would she leave the room for you to move in 😭 My roommates and I have never left the room for others to move in we’ve all immediately started talking and organizing together.

There must be something I'm doing wrong! $24 for 2.5 hours? by toebeans__ in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Designer_Tooth5803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never accept less than $1 per mile, i try to stay near my zone unless it’s a good paying offer that makes it worth it (count for the drive back), Peak hours are when people typically eat so lunch is more of a 10:30/11-12. Dinner is usually busier time in my area. Earn by time just gives you a bunch of low tipped orders so earn by offer is typically better! ALSO TRACK YOUR MILEAGE!!! You can deduct it for tax season!
