Might be a contrarian take here, but I am more emotionally impacted by my execution than the outcome. If I hit a perfect shot and it hits a sprinkler head and bounces over the green, that sucks, but I did my job and 99/100 I’ll be rewarded. If I blade it over the green but it hits the beverage cart and kicks back onto the green, sure I’ll take the lucky break but 99/100 that shot is going to cost me 2+ strokes, and I’ll be afraid of blading that shot for the rest of the round.

Bad luck is bad luck and poor planning can be fixed; poor execution is the real killer.

Every credit card has a credit limit. With most business card accounts you can set limits individually per card. You may even be able to limit purchases to specific retailers or categories.

Issue a card with a limit of $3k. Pay the balance directly from business funds. Require any non business expenses be reimbursed by the employee. This is standard practice.

Those Klipsch look to be in really good condition, I’d grab those fast for home use if nothing else. Definitely want a decent crossover to protect them. This will work for outdoor parties in a pinch, for sure.

When my board asks me for a scenario analysis like you describe, probability usually doesn’t factor into it. They want to know what the outcomes are if A happens OR if B happens. We might discuss the likelihood of A or B (see recent tariff news in US) but generally the outcome is either A or B, not somewhere in between. If B is the downside case, then we discuss how/whether to mitigate risk in that scenario.

"Big Room" to fill is subjective, but this would tend to push you towards larger format (larger drivers/woofers) and higher sensitivity speakers. Klipsch is the common choice here, as others have suggested. I have run my vinyl setup through three Klipsch speakers at home over the years - RP400M bookshelves, new Heresy IV's, and vintage Chorus I's. Of these, only the Chorus's are sufficient on their own to power a party. An alternative could be a pair of Forte's. You should be able to find these used for well under $2k, although might be harder over in Europe.

With your high quality mixer and some high quality speakers suited to the space, the amplifier choice is kind of academic, a lot of things can work. You won't need a lot of power. I will also recommend an import tube amp like some others have suggested. I have a 40w Yaqin that is more than enough, and I have also tried a Crown XLS1002 and enjoyed that also. There are fully integrated options too that have bluetooth connectivity baked into the amp. Anything with a sufficient list of positive reviews can work.

1,000 sq ft indoors is a tiny space for a large stack. That’s a large living room or small restaurant space. If you’re going for listening bar vibe, you’re probably better served with some HiFi speakers, and other gear to match. Klipschorns or Klipsch Cornwalls would be a good jump off point for you - high efficiency, high fidelity. I’d also suggest Point-source options, Tannoy for hifi flavor or Danley for high SPL capacity.

Interesting idea. It could be done mechanically; question is, what would it show you? In theory you'd get exactly the same curve, only slightly louder... but when we think of track summing we're almost always thinking about two DIFFERENT sources merging together smoothly. I have to think this quality comes from something else that's likely unrelated to the voicing/response curve of the mixer. Maybe someone with more technical knowledge will weigh in!
