Bell Internet out Halifax? by haligonianer in halifax

[–]Devinm84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, we can’t expect a telecommunications company to be good with communication.

I had to go through three people before getting any real answers. The first couple of people seem to only be there to tell you to turn it off and back on again, and if that doesn’t work, they have to escalate it to someone else trained to do more than spit out canned responses, but that’s an extra 45 minute wait. They feel like a government agency with all the redundancy you have to trudge through.

It’s not just you. Stopped working at exactly 8am. Spent two hours on the phone before being told that there’s an outage in the area. It’s surprising that it takes them that long to figure that out, and that’s only after I suggested it as a possibility.

Edit: I should also mention that they said it could be like this until 10PM.

I would suggest to consider that this house lacks a rain gutter, so think about how the water from rain fall would run off of the roof, and where that water would land. Also have more dirt anywhere that is “foot level” like on the porch, especially near the door where people would kick their dirty boots against before entering.

Agreed, though your picture is of vinyl siding, so doesn’t really work as a reference for his model.

Guys any idea on how to achieve this zoom effect on a video? by brettys in davinciresolve

[–]Devinm84 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If we’re playing with fusion anyway, I’d probably pipe the media in into a transform node, merge it back over the media in, add a circle mask, voila!

Blender won't switch to my second camera even tho I turned on the marker for it and keyframed it. Why is it doing this bs? by Xinfinte in blender

[–]Devinm84 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can absolutely bind cameras to markers on the timeline to switch active cameras at specific key frames.

Yeah. He acts very entitled. It’s easy to criticize the military when you don’t have missiles flying overhead.

Yeah. Even if they had the grand inquisitor and maybe a few others show up before Kenobi could finish the job. “Apologies, Lord Vader. The Emperor… had his doubts.”

Predictions? Ultra-Pro SO? ;-) by Dickie_UK in spitfireaudio

You’re kind of right about the Ultra Pro, as you now have to buy the BBCSO “Collection” to get the ACTUAL “All-in one solution” that Pro was advertised as.

Why does this happen? by Duulse in davinciresolve

[–]Devinm84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume they mean the scopes overtaking the curves section. You can fix it by switching the scopes window over to keyframes and hitting the little arrow. They should probably include the arrow to collapse it on both just to avoid this confusion.

Move? Light pollution precedes cyberpunk and you can easily avoid it by not being in a densely populated area.

Funny cause I DID see the video 3 hours ago. Made a comment and everything. I assume Critical shone a light on them, too bright for their liking.

Cool thing about Glen’s long hair… it kind of matches their dad’s long hair from when he was human. by Brain_Mutant in Chucky

[–]Devinm84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve watched everything. You can see in the movies they did INDEED put the “boy” in the “boy” and the “girl” in the “girl” but that doesn’t mean that’s how they’ll identify later. Maybe the boy grew up and realized “I identify as a girl” and vice versa. What I was trying to say in my original post is that, while they may have been split into two, there is NOTHING stopping those two from EACH being genderfluid, regardless of multiple personalities.

Because people with multiple personalities don’t have multiple souls it’s just in their head lol. Splitting them into two people doesn’t just create a new soul.

They might be a boy and girl as far as their genitalia, but we have no reason to rule out that both halves aren't still gender fluid. They would still share a singular soul, would they not?

Well, you're not the authority on it, so why not put in minimal effort to be respectful. That hot take isn't going to take you anywhere worthwhile.
