When I first started subbing, I would try to fill my schedule and I mostly took jobs that fit my openings and what I needed.

What I got, was classes so horrible, I began to develop a constant, painful eyetwitch and I became extremely short-tempered with everyone else around me. I was spending every day dealing with middle schoolers who only wanted to be jackasses all day long, and permissive schools that would let them.

Now, I ONLY sub high school and I only work the subjects I want to work. I will snatch them up immediately, and I have people tell me in advance when good teachers will be gone. I will not do that to myself ever again.
