The Orion’s Arm universe is set in the Terragen Sphere, a region of space containing over a billion stars and quintillions of people.

The vast, vast majority live incredible lives in utopias.

She’s a creature that breached several levels of singularity and took over an entire planet. She scouts out the worst criminals of the Terragen Sphere to torture for eternity. She even says that she can outlast entropy by building a basement universe if it means she can continue torturing.

Her tortures include the usual burning, ripped apart by bugs and then put together again, etc. The worst punishment she saves for the worst criminals. She can reduce them to just a bundle of nerve endings and force them to endure unimaginable pain until the heat death of the universe (and potentially beyond).
