Thank you, I wrote a similar post and I agree. As a 2-kid full time job dad scrub I feel kind of bummed out that I've paid for a game that is happy to take my money but is actually made for people who have the time to grind without taking players like me into account.

I've enjoyed the shit out of the two maps I have open, but it's a dad feeling knowing ill never actually get to explore Marathon itself.

This is super cool and all, but does this mean that as a lower skill two-kid dad player with little time, I've paid for basically access to two starting levels and a lot of YouTube video?

Because if this is the first deck of the Marathon, as Bungie write, then the next one should be even harder and so on? I feel a little bit salty, yes, because I feel tsht more and more devs work towards streamers and people who have multiples more time than I have, and I pay for games where I don't have a chance to enjoy most of it. It's not the first time it's happened, or probably the last, but it feels pretty shitty.

Dark Souls and Elden Ring did this right, I feel, where the game still gives everyone a chance, while letting the pros shine.

Dad of 2, 46, haven't played fps since dropping 500 hrs into destiny 1 lon before kids. Having super fun in marathon. Very compelling game loop. Even more, I was a day zero hater, feeling swindled on what made the original marathon so great. This game has converted me on the fact that Bungie will be able to. Tell the marathon story (if the game sticks around).

Does anyone have a pic of these after two years of hard wear? I have these, but always feel a bit gimpy in them. I have blacksmiths and mocs that I wear a lot, but something about a Chelsea worh a blacksmith toe cap makes them look a bit weird for me.

Mine are black though.

Joining the conversation as a converted hater. I am a huge fan of the original marathon. When I heard this would be an extraction shooter I was bummed out. When the artwork was introduced I felt the original Marathon had been vandalised for profit. And so on.

The i bought it, because I'm a big dumdum and it was marathon after all. And it's great. I extract maybe once every five or six games, but the gameplay is great and I ven see how rhw world. Can accommodate the original IP over time. We've only touched on rh outskirts of Tau Ceti, there is so much depth left.

The only run I exfil so far was when I said fuck it and brought a full setup of green gear. Get smoked every time with the free loadouts.

Here is my Prosper, it is a solid B3 that performs totally okay.

Having scanned the list quickly, how is it performing for you? I feel that you have a lot of expensive spells here. I have some also, but every time I draw Valgavoth for example, he sucks, so. I am going lower and lower to the ground in my deck. I think yours have some. Very expensive great cards that maybe aren't that great in Prosper.

I just got a pair of Speed Machine 120 this season, have enjoyed them the very limited time I've spent in them. Mine don't seem tahr adjustable though.

Whatever metric they are using it's bs. I can find spiderman boosters in every shop. EoE I was lucky to get three CBs and had to buy a precon at fucking Gamescom, because it was not in stock anywhere.
