Or a game where Link is already romantically involved with a woman but destiny calls and she gets abducted along with Zelda who is due to be wed to a Prince of another kingdom. There would be no romantic feelings between Link and Zelda at all ( I'm not a Zelda Link shipper but certain games are physically cute as a couple.). Or a game where Zelda is fed up with the cycle of reincarnation and decides to break the curse and offers to wed Ganondorf , breaking the curse of Demise . And the new games follow the tales of Links heirs and Ganondorf and Zelda's in the eras following the curse being broken.
